The worst experience I’ve ever had staying at a hotel in my entire life and I’m a professional nomad. FIrst of all there was HAIR all over this room, in the bed, under the pillow cases, in the bathroom. It was appalling, but not as appalling as the service. The staff is really young, trashy, unprofessional and rude. I was told my laundry would be done and it wasn’t, and when I confronted them they acted like it was my fault. For the love of god don’t do it to yourself, stay somewhere better even if it’s a few extra bucks. This place has stuck with me because I learned exactly what I do not want from a hotel stay. Threatened to ruin my trip it was so bad. The manager is an idiot. Wow I can’t think of a single thing other than proximity to the tube and Prince Albert Hall that is of value. Crap and more crap.

Very small rooms. I couldn’t stand in the shower without hitting my head on the ceiling(I’m just over 6′). It was impossible to use the desk for a computer A) there wasn’t enough desk space for a 13″ laptop. B) the bed was soo close you couldn’t fit between it and the desk. Very limited amenities as well. Decent location though.

Oh boy are the rooms small! You walk in halfway through the room! Bathroom stalls at the airport are larger than the toilet here. But the staff is impeccable and you get a great rate in the heart of London.

Lobby is nice, but hotel room was ridiculously small even by London standards. Barely room to move around bed and no space to place and open suitcase. Booked a queen bed, got a double and also no mini bar as specified. Nice location close to both Bayswater and Queensway tube stations. Due to size of room and lack of staff ability to fix it, I would recommend trying another hotel.

I stayed there for 3 nights during the Olympics. Of course, it was overprized as we booked it quite in advance. The location is great as it is next to Hyde Park, not facing a main road but really close to several Underground stations. Nevertheless, it is a nice hotel with friendly staff who assisted immediately, no matter what the request was. The room was really clean, but very tiny. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom nicely furnished. The hotel represents its old world charm(it’s connected to Lillie Langtry) but the rooms were refurnished modernly. I can recommend it as a big hotel room is usually not needed for a city trip but cleanliness prefered.
