Ah, my local branch of Greggs. Service is slow, and some of the staff are a little over-friendly… I definetly prefer going in to this branch on weekends… the weekend staff just tend to get on with the task at hand… The shelves tend to be well-stocked and the food is fresh, however. This Greggs is a popular branch and I can see why. Had previously written about a member of weekday staff on here who had demonstrated awful customer service both towards myself and others. I went in since writing that and she was actually polite that time, so I felt bad and removed my comment. Well; I went in today and, daaaang, the rudeness was back with a VENGEANCE! When it was my turn she closed her eyes and loudly snapped«will the next customer come forward?». If someone had pushed in front of me I doubt she’d have given a damn. She asked me what I wanted in an uppity manner, then proceeded to take my item and put it on the other side if the counter(dafuq?). I gave her my card and she snapped loudly«no». As she was giving her passive aggressive instruction on putting my card into the reader I said«you know what, forget it». I was trying to paying for a sandwich, not a barrage of attitude. So I turned and walked out. And, laughably, I could hear Rudegal in the background shouting across the shop floor«erm, hello-oo?». I am kind of grateful to her now… She saved me £3! Gonna dock this branch a star because of her regardless. I hear Lambeth College do courses in Customer Service Training, her manager should seriously consider sending her on one…
