Grenson is a great brand of shoes, high quality and classic and modern styles, so I was really looking forward to visiting the Soho shop to purchase a new pair. On the day I went, the store was empty except for the salesperson, who was transfixed on the computer. After browsing for several minutes I asked her if I could try on a pair, she finally took her eyes off the screen and reluctantly went downstairs to find the pair in my size. Sorry for bugging you! The shoes aren’t exactly inexpensive so I was expecting some friendly and helpful service. Unfortunately they didn’t have my size, so I ended up purchasing a pair off the webpage. I don’t like giving bad reviews, but I’m not sure what the value is of going to the store, the day I was there the salesperson could hardly be bothered and the stock seemed quite limited despite all the shoes on display. Maybe I was unlucky, but I was expecting much more having had a great experience in the Liverpool St store previously — might be best to give this store a miss.
