I popped in here prior to my visit to the Museum of Brands which has just relocated nearby. I was impressed that the prices are still comparable to East London chippies, which I’m more familiar with. I was confused by how huge the small/regular portion was for £1.80(I even double-checked as he was filling up the paper cone, that he’d understood I’d not asked for the large!) The quality of the squashy chips was undeniable and I’d happily recommend this to anyone who wants some traditional ‘English’ fare!

Came here to give my younger sister a real London fish n’ chips experience. Neither of us were disappointed. We cleaned our plates! I definitely plan to come again… though not too often, or my diet will be completely sabotaged.

It doesn’t look like much, but this is a really tasty fish and chip shop. It’s well worth a visit.

Typischer Fish&Chips. Leider wurde die Qualität in letzter Zeit immer schlechter, die Portionen kleiner und die Preise steigen. Einfach mal nach anderen Geschäften in der Nähe umsehen.

There’s nothing special about this chip shop. It sells fish and chips, and it’s still open when the pubs close. Having avoided temptation for years I recently bought some chips, and they were rather nice. The traditional type, fat and a bit pale. I know I would miss this place if it disappeared and will now give in to temptation a bit more frequently.
