Hackney Launderette

I do like this laudrette because it is clean. New year, new price a small washing load will cost £4 (up by £1)

Laundrettes are usually surprisingly grubby, considering that they are used to clean clothes, and you often have to deal with grumpy staff.
I went to Hackney Laundrette today and was pleased to find that it was exceptionally clean and the owner is a very nice chap who even recommended a place where I might find inexpensive spare parts for my broken washing machine.
The prices to per wash range from £3 to £5, depending on the machine capacity. It sounds a bit expensive but I easily fit into the smallest machine what would have been 1.5 loads of washing at home, with room to spare.
Not the cheapest option on a regular basis but I would not hesitate to return should I need to use a laundrette again in the future.
