Rating des Ortes: 5 Hampstead, London, United Kingdom
I’ve been in to this store twice now and I do find it very exclusive and of course incredibly expensive; considering that I always do my research on companies, before I make my first actual visit to them. This headquarters of Hield are based in Briggella Mills, West Yorkshire. In 1922, the founders of Hield, were originally known as the Hield Brothers, who were and Hugh and David. But they are both long gone. As of today, Hield, now manufactures cloth for gentlemen’s apparel and furniture, as well as suits, shirts, ties, knitwear, scarves and throws, shoes, luggage, small leather goods, and accessories. According to Forbes magazine, Investment Bankers and Hedge Fund Managers would often buy a US$ 23,000 set of eight Hield suits as one of the best ways to blow there City bonus. Hield did produce and design the upholstery in Queen Elizabeth II’s custom Bentley State Limousine car. From what I’ve been told, this is the only Hield store in the whole of Europe. Hield have other stores in international locations, which include: one in New York City, USA; one in Scottsdale, Arizona, USA; one in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia; one in Dubai, United Arab Emirates; two in Osaka, Japan; and one in Kuwait. In the distant past, there was a Hield store located in 32 Savile Row, but that store is now long gone. Hield is now owned by the Syrians and Emiratis.
