I was given a recommendation to take my engagement ring in to Hirschfeld’s by a friend who had been to them before and had a great experience. I brought my ring in to have a loose stone fixed, a good cleaning, rhodium refinishing and the prongs shorted a bit. I emailed first and got a reply almost immediately. They were extremely helpful and courteous (even though I emailed back and forth multiple times with questions) and my ring was done in less than a week. It’s sparklier and lovelier than ever and would definitely recommend them. They do wonderful work!

We used this business to resize my engagement ring but the results were very poor — the stone was returned loose and there were marks on the gold. They did put matters right but we weren’t impressed that we had to complain.
Can’t attest to their selection of items for sale as that’s not the reason we used them.

They also specialise in jewellery repair and have a delightful collection of funky gemstone cocktail rings, diamond & gemstone designer rings, earrings and necklaces from Italy– I buy all my wifes jewellery at Hirschfelds.
