This was my very best experience of a local hairdresser in Pimlico/​Victoria. My hair is shining, beautiful, expertly trimmed and the best set of natural looking highlights ever! I cannot praise this salon too highly.
I was looking for a new local salon as my old one came under new management and it no longer felt the welcoming place I’d always known it to be. It was definitely time for a change.
Hive does long hair! What a joy to meet a true professional in Carolina. Some hairdressers are afraid of very long hair, but Carolina is highly talented and made me feel really welcome.
Carolina took my very long thick hair with unknown colour mixture into her capable hands. I was unable to retrieve my records from the prior salon down the road because they were deemed ‘trade secrets’. Carolina took these challenges in her stride, expertly matching the colour. I cannot praise Carolina’s expertise or professionalism too highly. My hair looks amazing.
I felt welcome and ‘at home’ from the moment I walked through the door. Hive is a real gem, and I will have my hair done at Hive for all the years to come that I continue to live in this area.
I strongly recommend Hive.

Real 5 star cut and colour at this salon — the kind of cut you get only once in a while which looks and feels just the way you wanted it and makes you want to go out that evening just to show it off!
Was traveling through London for work a couple of months ago and desperately needing a haircut. This salon was close to my hotel and had solid reviews elsewhere. Naomi did the cut and colour for me — and I think its worth flying all the way back to London for!

The lady who cut my hair is the first hairdresser in ages who has really listened to what I wanted, so that was great. She was very confidant that she could do the cut I wanted, and it turned out lovely.
They were friendly, but not cloying. I like this place.

tried them after being recommended by a friend. now i’m waiting for my hair to grow so that i can get it fixed by another stylist at another salon. totally ruined my hair. friendly people but no skills.

Went to Hive as it’s close by to work but having now gone, I would definitely travel to get there! The staff are really lovely, and my stylist (not sure of her name — possibly Naoki? She’s Japanese) was wonderful! I’ve never had such attention paid to my hair. Such a perfectionist and I am thrilled with the result! Highly recommended boutique salon that’s far better than any Toni & Guy/​Headmasters salon. What a shame I’m from Australia! Almost worth staying here for the hair service. :)

I recently went to Hive and had such an amazing experience. Staff were friendly, helpfull and they really know what they are doing. Great value for money also! The stylist (Calum) advised me to make some changes-​thank god i took his advice-​my hair has never looked better. On top of that it is so easy for me to style at home!
