Delicious pizza! The place was crowded and noisy, but well worth it! Try the salami, rocket, and Parmesan pizza. The chorizo is tasty too! Try This place. You can’t go wrong.

My lord, stop it people! This is NOT five-star pizza. Your friends may say it is the BESTEVER and it will CHANGEYOURLIFE, but don’t worry… when they sober up they won’t judge your realistic review of this ho-hum pizza spot with a queue, minimal ambiance, and minimal seating opportunities. Massive but thin, oily, and short on toppings, this £4 margherita slice is below even london’s own poor pizza standards. Not great, not good — this place is «ok». Let it go… find a real slice and direct your drunk friends who gave this place five«post-pub» stars to the nearest SoHo ramen joint.

Just stumbled across this place while looking for dinner last night, and so glad we did! It’s tucked away in an alley way, and is seriously, the best pizza. We just got slices between the two of us — Margherita and Salami, both delicious. The staff was friendly, helpful, and on top of things. A great price for a great pizza!

One of the best pizzas in London. Much smaller than the one in Shoreditch, so if you need more rooms, then don’t go here. Great staff as usual. A bit too crowded and we had to sit too close together for my liking. But overall, a great place for a quick 20″ of sloppy pizza.

I may venture as far as to call this one of the best pizza places in London, though I haven’t tried nearly enough to truly say that but it’s awesome! The toppings are always really delicious but it is PACKED! Come early to put your name on the list but at least you can go have some drinks and they call you on your phone when your table is ready!

Such an amaizing pizza, the best I had in London, had a half caprese half Haggis potatoes and leek(yes sounds weird but taste amaizing) every person I recommend the place they love it. Going again next week to try a few more flavours. Only the first 3 flavours on the menu were available for slices what is a shame because wanted to try a few other options. Half of the flavours are not the most regular ones but at least the Haggis and potatoes blend perfectly

Pizza is serve in one size, 20 inch for £20. There is a variety of pre-combined toppings to choose and you can opt to have 50⁄50. But you can order pizza by the slice(£4 each slice) if 20 inch is too big. We ordered one 20 inch pizza to share and selected one half with Goat Shoulder, savoy cabbage and summac yoghurt. Then the other half with Salami, rocket and parmesan. The Goat Shoulder and savoy cabbage was nice in flavour but although it was drizzle with summac yoghurt, I thought it was on the dry side compared to the tomato base pizza. Whereas the salami, rocket and parmesan pizza was the complete opposite being tomato base. The tomato sauce was still moist which meant the pizza was less dry to eat. The two toppings made a good combination as 50⁄50.

And that’s the update of my first review. The rating fell down, and for good reason. For starters, pizza was much worse than last time. Super super salty, and too crunchy, it’s good they do not let it be soggy but you can’t really expect to serve a piece of crust, calling it a pizza and expect me to believe it. Oh and let’s not forget the horrendous service. The waitresses were rude at best, but worst of all they gave us 30 minutes to eat. Yes, 30 minutes, and they did not let know it before. We were still finishing our pizza and they already asked if we wanted the bill as they had to give the table away. Well, keep that table, keep that pizza, keep everything, I have no intention to come back here anytime soon.

You will need at least two people to finish off the 20 inches monster, solo diners are best to order by the slice, however the choices are much more limited(only three, all classic flavours such as Margherita). To sum it up, a great pizza joint with some creative factor, I would more than happy to return to try other flavours in the future.

Delicious pizza — highly recommend coming with a group of 3 – 4 for a pie or grabbing a slice to take away. I really enjoyed the chorizo, corn, and coriander. Make sure to get half/half so you can optimize for other pizzas– also enjoyed the aubergine, cauliflower cheese, spinach, and harissa.

Awesome pizza! But it is disgusting they don’t have silverware :( This place serves very solid pizza. Not surprising the place was full and noisy. I particularly enjoyed the white pizza with mushroom: probably the best one I have tried in a while. The salami one was also really good. 20 pounds a huge pizza. Worst part of my visit: they do not have silverware. Seriously, what is the point? It is cheap to put(at least) plastic forks and knives! Plus I don’t think people while stay much longer if they eat using them. It was disgusting. Just because of this I am giving 4 stars instead of 5. Hope they change the policy! :)

Hands down some of the best pizza in London, beating the likes of Franco Manca, Pizza Pilgrims and Pizza East. Get the 20 inch pizza with 2 different toppings and just save any extras for snacks/lunch the next day! Slices are good if you’re not hungry or just want the classic toppings, but getting the whole thing is better value I think! They have a really interesting menu of toppings that all work, highly recommend you give them all a try if you can! There tends to be a queue for this place, but it moves quickly and they’re happy to take your number and will give you a ring when your table is free. Pop into a local bar/pub while you wait for a quick drink!

Needed an afternoon snack(prego here!) and walking through Neal’s Yard, we noticed Homeslice. It smelled delicious and pizza seemed to fit the bill and my mood. I didn’t necessarily want an entire pizza and my husband was adamant he wasn’t hungry to share one with me so I went for the slice. Perfect. This pizza is very floppy and about the size of a NY pizza so you have to eat it like one too — folded in half. It was perfectly salted with the cheese underneath the sauce. I saw a few people opt for several slices with different topping than go for one whole 20″ pizza. I may have done that, too if I was hungry enough. It wasn’t too crowded when we dropped by but this could have been because it was in between lunch and dinner time. To avoid lengthy queues you might want to do the same.

I love this place, nowhere does pizza as well. The not being able to reserve a table although annoying is made up for by the fact you can put your mobile number down and go for a drink, as they call you. Generally speaking the time estimate they give you is normally accurate, my most recent visit we did end up waiting a little longer, the bonus of this though was finding a little restaurant Compagnie des Vins Surnaturels in Neal’s Yard that let us just order wine so will definitely head there in future. I love the changing menu as it really allows for variation(in a small place) the 20 inch pizzas are more than adequate for 2⁄3 people, they do individual slices too(but the menu is a little smaller). The pizza itself is amazing, the bases are thin, the toppings are always fresh and hot and just generally delicious, the range of flavours and combinations always makes it more interesting and tasty. They have opened up 2 other restaurants now so I’m hoping that the Neal’s Yard store becomes slightly less crowded, it’s always a bit of a squeeze(worth it but having elbow room would be great too).

Homeslice in Neal’s Yard has become one of those must-stop, must-eat destinations in London. The 1st time I stopped here on a Sunday evening around 3 pm and the line was out of the door with crowds milling about. I ran away. Went back at what I thought was an odd time(Monday afternoon 2 pm) and it was still packed but I managed to get a small spot to sit in after a 10 minute wait. The service was fast and efficient and since I was alone I chose one of the pizza slices. Delicious slices(4GBP) — you have to choose from 3 options if you’re getting the slice — the Margerita, the lamb shoulder or courgette and artichoke. I chose the last one was I love artichokes and more people should be using them in their food. I was super hungry so didn’t manage to get a picture, but it was really wholesome, light and delicious. The crust was thin & salty and I dipped mine in the chili oil kept on the table and savored every bite. Definitely go and try some pizza if you get a chance — it’s excellent.

A friend said this was one of the best pizzas in London. I absolutely agree! Franco Manca used to be my favourite but Homeslice managed to change my mind. I also love that they are different by serving the pizza, and also the wine, in over-size. You don’t order by glass but will have a 2-litre bottle on the table which will be measured at the end. Possibly dangerous but above all just fun. Unfortunately the deliciousness of Homeslice Pizza is not a secret so you will have to queue if you want a table. If possible, go before dinner time and it will be less crowded.
