I love HC’s dark truffle range — they have very boozy little cognac and whiskey balls and my favourite chili chocolate. The person who came up with this combination please stand up — let me adore you. I can’t believe I was afraid to give it a try but it is a perfect relationship.
They do some interesting products as well like the cocoa bean and chili olive oil which is great in salads. Then there are the massive blocks of pure chocolate. Only recommended if you don’t really like chocolate. If you do, beware. It is possible to gain 3kg in a day.
With so much good and ethical chocolate around there is no reason to be supporting corporate gluttons like Cadbury and Nestle.

helllls yes. This place is indulgence. Pure. I used to work near Moorgate and I hate going past this little shop because it would torment me so. Their sexual use of advertising does not help with the chocolatey imagerey.
I think the best purchase would have to be the chocolate blocks. There are many varieties to choose from, for example, dark chocolate with cranberrys, or a mix of chocolates swirled together. Or honeycomb. Or chilli or hazelnuts or anything you can imagine really. I love the dark stuff for its intense flavour, try and get hold of some of the 80% bars for wow factor. It is a little pricey, but the quality is amazing.
