My husband and I stayed at the Arch Hotel(which the Hunter is located) and after not being able to find a late night dinner, we ended up at our hotel restaurant, desperate, jet lagged, and exhausted. The hostess greeted us promptly and even though the kitchen was about to be closed in minutes, they allowed us to order and eat dinner(probably because we were staying at the hotel). I would recommend this elegant place to anyone who is looking for a quiet dinner away from the hustle of Oxford Street shopping. My husband ordered the Hunter’s chicken and he thought it was decent. I had the Italian Meat Pizza and loved it. Our waitress was very attentive, kind, and welcoming.

I came here for afternoon tea. They give you a unique combination of items. They give an assortment of sweet and savory eclairs from chocolate dessert ones to savory duck ones. They also gave sandwiches which were good. The pastries were also unique and included the likes of baba rum and strawberry tarts. We opted for the veuve clicquot champagne add on. It was artisan and I thought the quality was very good. My only disappointment was that the service was slow and did not pay very much attention to requests. They only had one other couple having tea in there and many servers available but all seemed to busy themselves in various directions. When we requested more water for our tea it took 25 minutes. I wish it would have been more attentive as it was not busy to warrant the lack of attention.
