Have walked by the place several times during lunchtime strolls near Spitalfields Market and finally decided to give it a try. It’s got a good bit of competition in the quick, wrap-based lunch department given the many cheap food stalls at Petticoat Lane, however it’s nice to have space to sit down and eat comfortably. I got the Chicken Tikka wrap and enjoyed the flavor and heat to it. It was far from just Tikka Masala thrown into a wrap with some rice! Really decent prices for a place with an actual storefront and some tasty sides as well(the veg samosa that I had at least…)

Amazing. I got stuff brought via deliveroo, and their Potato Papri Chaat was the nicest thing I’ve eaten in at least the last six months.

Inito was a place my husband and I ran into when wandering around. They’ve got convenient wraps that are nice for lunch and walking. So we decided to order two– one with soya mince and the other with portobello mushrooms. They both did the job. We were full and satisfied and it was pretty good, or rather, A-OK. Nothing out of this world, but convenient if you want to walk and eat! I’d try other options again if I was in the area.

I went to Inito once after reading reviews here saying that the food was great. I don’t know if people actually meant the lunch wraps are what’s good about the place but it’s definitely not the mains. I had the prawn dish(can’t remember the name) and it basically a row of 5 or so prawns seasoned and cooked. Definitely more of a starter than a main! I might go back the next time I have a craving for Indian street food in the city but for now there are other better places to explore.

I’ve just tried it once, but i really liked it. I had Chicken Biriyani and I was very impressed. FLAVOURS is the keyword. They have surprisingly got it all right, which very few Indian restaurants get right in the UK. They serve masala chai too. If you have ever lived in India, you’ll know what this is. Luckily they let you put the sugar in it, so your chai doesn’t taste like dessert, which is what happens everywhere else in the UK. I’ll keep you updated after trying out other dishes, wraps etc.

I’ve been a regular at Inito ever since it opened a few months ago. Inito — a portmanteau of «Indian» and«Burrito» — serves variations of Indian street food and is quite popular at lunch-time for the rolls it serves, I’m told. I tend to eat here in the evenings and weekends, so am rarely in the mood for a roll those times, but those I know who have eaten these tell me they’re good. I’ve been here often enough that I’ve several favourites, the first and foremost being lollipop wings, which are incredibly delicious and well-seasoned chicken drumlets. They are a little pricey at £4.95 for a serving of three, so this is an occasional indulgence for me, but they are very delicious indeed. I also enjoy another chicken dish — Bhatti Ka Murhg — tandoori-baked chicken with smoked tomato chutney. The chicken is so moist and juicy, the seasoning just so good that we almost always order this each time we’re here, even if it was just a few days ago. It’s like the Indian version of Nando’s because it’s just that good — and that’s meant as a compliment from my Nando’s-loving partner. There are also occasional specials. A couple of weeks ago, they were offering Punjab specials(my favourite was the Amritsa fish, but sadly, no longer on offer) and this week, they are offering dishes from Rajasthan. The staff here are super-friendly, coming over to say hello and/or offering us smiles whenever we drop by, and it’s been a real pleasure listening to them tell us about their new dishes or new favourites whenever we have the chance to chat. The décor of Inito — indeed the whole concept of Inito — invites comparisons with Roti Chai and Dishoom, both of which I enjoy, but, I can assure you that Inito is great in its own right. It may have taken a while, but there’s finally a fantastic Indian within walking distance of Brick Lane.

So much buzz around this place, interior is fun and another lunch option for local workers. As per my tip(see tips!), the food will be served in a takeaway box even if you eat in. this is during lunch hours. This may sound particular, but I would have liked to eat with a plate, metal cutlery. Takeaway boxes eating in? Lazy much. Onto the food itself. ordered a chicken curry with rice. The meat was tender, the flavour was good, but the sauce itself was soup like and too thin for a curry. It didnt help that the curry and rice were in a takeaway plastic box. I was pigging out. as you do! — so I ordered the chicken chaat, which was great, chicken tender, so flavoursome and the tangy flavours with the tamarind worked well. The masala chai is awful — watery chai? I think the likes of Dishoom have spoilt me, maybe? I was advised some great red wine by the staff, which is conveniently priced the same for all the bottles, so you can choose the one you like as opposed to price-judging it. Now with a glass of red, I ordered some chilli cassava — I know. pigging out much. It was tasty with the tamarind sauce, green chilli and garnish of chopped red onion, but the cassava itself was slightly on the dry side. Did serve well as drinking food whilst it was piping hot though. Had auguri rasmalai which was a-ok. small bite sized rasmalai? Maybe I am one of those people who really do have a separate stomach for dessert. this was a bit small for my liking, but cute. I guess. Is cute food a good thing, or is wow that was calorific, terrific and all the other ‘fic words you can think of !! Tastebuds somewhat satisfied but Inito is somewhere between 2 and 3 stars… I gave them a 3 star as the service was friendly, they knew the menu well, I tasted the wine before buying and the taste was A-OK for most of the dishes.

Looked very promising, nice interiors and layout. Similar concept as that of Bombay Burrito but here the quintessential Roti(Chapatti) is used to create a wrap or Roll. Apart from the wraps they so Biriyani, few curries and few other snacks as well. Under 5 quid for a wrap is not bad, a number of different fillings, salads and sauces are available. I had a Chicken Roti roll, my mates had a Paneer roll and a Vegi Biriyani. There is something called a Kati roll which is quite popular in India, particularly in Calcutta, similar concept but the roti used is thicker. The filling uncomplicated and usually grilled meat. These ones unfortunately missed the mark. In the eagerness to make it appealing to a variety of audience there were far too many filings and sauces which causes confusion. Moreover they used a normal roti which got soggy and disintegrated during the meal. The main filing paneer/chicken were diced too fine for my liking and the flavours missed hitting the mark. The samosas were ok and Biriyani was above average. Would like to add while the cashier/manager(who presumably was the owner) looked quite attentive and friendly, the staff behind the wrap counter were unfriendly and looked like in a hurry to finish with us even though the place was empty. May be they were new. Over all a 3 stars but I must say that they do have a lot of potential.

We went to check these guys out as they serve versions of Indian street food. We were served warm snack versions of filled rotis(Indian flat breads) with chicken, lamb, prawn and paneer. These were nicely spiced though the prawn one could have done with a bit more chilli heat, but that is personal preference. It is a great way to get to know new people over sharing platters whilst sitting at communal tables. Suarav(head chef) came over and explained his inspirations for the dishes on the menu were from traditional delights served at roadside stalls. Next we tucked into his signature dishes of urban lamb curry, murgh makhni, Hyderabadi lamb biryani, kaali dahl, palak paneer, and baigan aur mirch ka salan — all accompanied with classic naans, rotis and plain rice. Suarav’s creative use of spices in the all the dishes was like a flavour explosion in your mouth. Particularly loved the traditional way the biryani was served with the naan bread dough cover over the haandi containing the biryani sealing in all the flavour and that you had to crack through the cover to get at the delights inside. Great friendly atmosphere with authentic Indian street food dishes and attentive service. Go check them out, as they provide especially homesick Indians with street food treats that satisfy those hunger pangs for traditional snacks and dishes.

We received a warm welcome from Bruce(Manager). Whilst sipping on mango lassis, we enjoyed chicken lollipop and masala dosas, and popular chaat(street food snacks) of pani puri, bhel puri, and aloo papri chaat. These transported us to being on a Mumbai and Goan street corner at a street food seller’s cart. Next we got platters of succulent tandoori lamb chops with a perfectly balanced spiced crust, flaky salmon tikka, Old Delhi chicken tikka, and paneer tikka with a crisp outer and a soft warm centre(like comforting velvety hugs in every mouthful). Great friendly atmosphere with authentic Indian street food dishes and attentive service.
