Needed something fast and relatively healthy for dinner since I was traveling. Came into Itsu and liked: — friendly service — many sushi combo choices — soup choices(I had the classic chicken noodle) Everything tasted freshly made and the soup came out hot. Simple and easy and quick service.

Yes, I gave in … I ate beautiful at Itsu. It certainly made up for any ugly eating I did in London! I was a little skeptical of this place but saw that they had some asian noodle soups that were vegan. I was in a hurry during a lunch break so I tried the detox miso … mind you, it requires a boatload of sriracha … and it was really good! The soup portion is not very big and didn’t fill me up, so going forward I often ordered two soups — maybe it was my American appetite? But keep in mind, I’m a 110 pound little lady … so I think anyone my size or bigger would require more than one soup. Overall, I eventually fell in love with this soup. I ate at several Itsu locations repetitively during my business trip … and am anticipating Itsu’s expansion to America.

After leaving Victoria station, I was needing a bit of a bite in a bit of a rush. Itsu was the perfect place. Say what you want about«convenience sushi», but I grabbed a spicy tuna roll and was in and out in less than 10 minutes and I made it to my event on time. It has bar style seating, and the lighting was pretty dim in the evening. Whenever I’m back in London and wanting a quick sort of healthy bite of sushi, then I’ll totally stop at an Itsu.

I detest«convenience sushi» but the wakame soup was quite tasty and low cal(high sodium lol heart failure!!!) A bit pricey but not a bad place at all if you want something light and healthy(ish… re: heart failure) on the go. I’d gladly go back for a light meal. They also have neat lil apple /ginger sodas that are lo cal and nummles.

Itsu’s «Noodle Pot-Su» offers a great alternative to your average sandwich or soup lunch from Pret just down the road. I used to work locally and a colleague recommended Itsu as a good lunch spot. The«the complete meal in a pot» is reasonably priced and includes noodles, seven vegetables, broth & topping. It’s tasty, served by friendly, welcoming staff and you have the option to eat in or take-away. The Itsu on Victoria St is bright, colourful and modern. Plenty of seating, even when it’s busy with the lunchtime rush. Give it a try for a lunch time treat. You won’t be disappointed!

A hip place to get a quick healthy lunch. Fresh sushi, trance music and affluent young business people.

Edinburgh needs an Itsu. I come down to London every so often on business and whilst wandering around Victoria looking for something more inspiring than M&S or a Boots meal deal, i stumbled upon this place. The sushi wrap thingies are a stroke of genius, the low carb tuna and salmon tartare is ace, and all the wee snacky things like wasabi peas an chocolate coated rice cakes are amazing. Perhaps it’s not the most prestigious sushi bar, but at the end of the day it’s good to have some cheap, accessible, tasty, and varied sushi at lunchtime rather than other high street brands. Maybe it’s a good thing there isn’t one in Edinburgh or I’d spend all my money there.

Newly opened. Just any other Itsu really. But nice to have one in this area.
