Yasssss. Euston is not the most inspiring locale. This adorable spot seems quite out of place. It’s small inside, with maybe 4 or 5 tables, but it has a great atmosphere, very welcoming and warm. I’ve been twice and the guy who was at the counter(owner? manager?) was exactly the right level of friendly. My chai latte and lemon polenta cake were both totally top notch. Also grabbed a loyalty card so now that it’s going to be my regular, hopefully will be good value too!

Who knew this coffee shop was here? Not I, and I must have walked by it a million times. But when a friend suggested we grab a coffee here, I was game(even though again, I had trouble finding it). It’s around the corner from the main road, but still right on it, and it’s tiny, seating no more than about 10⁄15 people. But don’t miss it. The coffee is strong and it has a bunch of options, the atmosphere easy to sit in and the music low. It even had plugs for my laptop, which was surprising in a shop this small. The guy beyond the counter was a mean MOFO but I’m not going to hold it against him, everyone has grumpy days and I think this was his. He did let me sit and work and drink and be a loud American without complaint, so that’s a win. Sadly, a Costa has opened up on the main road right next door and if anything will drive this spot out of biz, that will do it. But don’t let it. Keep walking around the corner and come here, you’ll be happier that you did.

I go to this place almost every day. Rich coffee, creamy aromatic and delicious. The staff are lovely. They have 10 percent student discounts which I think is cute. They have quick food. It’s one of those places that ends up feeling a lot like home. Small and comfortable.

Inspirational coffee! Got loyalty card and have to say customer service beside top notch coffee is fantastic plus the story behind is exceptional. Try 4 shots espresso and you will be flying around…

This place is literally around the corner from my new job. First day of work, I left my travel coffee mug there, so I couldn’t make any for my second day. So I gave Jika Jika a try. The cappuccino was really nice. Later in the day I needed another pick me up so I grabbed a long black. Really nice and no sugar needed. That’s always a good sign. Third day of work: hangover.(Yeah I’m hardcore and ridiculous like that.) So for lunch I had noticed they had breakfast burritos. That’s right. Breakfast burritos. In London. I was ready for that to go in my mouth to deal with a hangover. Seriously. Breakfast burritos are one of the world’s best inventions, and they are impossible to find in London. Now I can go downstairs and around the corner and eat them ALLTHETIME.(I won’t, but I could.) It was really tasty as well. Bacony, cheesy and eggy. YUM. They also put it in the sandwich toaster so it gets a bit of a crisp outside. Awesome. The baked goods and sandwiches also look awesome(which I’m sure I’ll try eventually). The people who work here are really friendly as well. The venue itself is tiny, but I’ve seen my fair share of people working here and having meetings here, so they must be pretty laid back about that sort of thing. I’m really glad to have found a great coffee place so close to work. It’s going to be hard to keep myself from going all the time.

Nothing like being told that the waitstaff will make something that’s sold out for you in 5 minutes(awesome, thank you), only to wait 15 minutes for said item, then have it handed to you with a curt, unfriendly reminder that the shop is closed. Don’t even remind me of how you handled said food item without any plastic gloves, etc., after handling cash and whatever else(ew!). What? I’m sorry? If the shop is/was closed, there is no sign to that end, and patrons still eating and drinking inside, you could have told me such before charging me for an item and giving me attitude while serving it. Sigh. But my friend said his espresso was good.

Pleasantly surprised. Working near Euston station my coffee options have been limited to the commercial brown sludge of Pret and Costa for too long. Ordered a simple flat white which in my opinion is always the best barometer for a coffee shop and received a more than acceptable beverage. They employ a single shot as standard policy which is fine by me as I find the likes of Kaffeine and other so called top coffee shops a little aggressive on the stimulant front. Deep and rich toasted flavours without any bitterness and well frothed milk and at £2.40 certainly on par with London average. Not as good as Artisan on Upper Richmond Rd but then in my opinion few coffee shops are.
