Just had an event last Saturday at JK Hall. The staff are really friendly and went out of their way to make the event run smoothly. Junior and the team always had a smile on their faces although there were a few glitches they tried their best to resolve it… great customer service guys… Thank you

I have driven past this venue for years and did not really know it existed. It is quite large in side and they can provide seating for a few hundred people. It is my understanding that they can provide a full catering service for your event. I went there for a funeral wake. The venue was set up in a way that reminded me more of a wedding than a funeral wake. The food that was provided by the venue was actually very good, not the usual cooked on mass food but actual tasteful good food, and plenty off it. The down side of this venue, in my opinion, is that it needs to be updated. The carpet on the floor is dated and warn and I am sure if it could talk would have some very interesting stories. There was a part of the ceiling which had the scars of where rainwater had gotten in, they really should fix this. The bar area was situated in a far corner and it has clearly always been the bar are as the carpet around it was very sticky, do not get me started on the toilet area! They have a projector hanging from the ceiling, which you can use as part of the hire. I am sure that at one stage it was a state of the art projector but that must have been a while ago as what was being projected onto the screen was not showing in true colour. It is a deceptively large venue and if you want a large venue, which can cater food and allow you to bring your own drink in this could be the place for you. If you want something shiny and new this is not the place. Parking is a problem however there is a car park 5 minutes walk away in which you can park for a very reasonable price but, you cannot park outside the venue.
