JL London Salon

I am so disappointed with my experience at this salon and with the hairdresser who did my hair. I asked for my hair to be about the length of the bottom of my chin and even held my hand up to visually show where I wanted it; I also asked for it not to be too short at the back. At first the hair dresser cut my hair longer at the back than the front, so I tried again to explain what I wanted. It still wasn’t how I wanted it so had to try and explain a further two times. There was obviously a misunderstanding between what I was saying and what he was saying. I was then accused of changing what I had told him at the beginning of the hair cut so I appologised for seeming to be fussy, to which he completely ignored me! What I left the salon with was far shorter than what I wanted and not cut very well either! I will definitely not be going back to this salon, and would certainly not recommend to anybody else that doesn’t want to leave in tears! I’m so disappointed and upset about how the hairdresser treated me.

Had my hair cut there today by Keith (sorry to name names) but I am so disappointed in my hair cut that it resulted me to write this review! I was recommended by a friend as my hairdresser has sold his salon and gone back to HK and I needed a hair cut so bad and was brave enough to try this place out! Don’t get me wrong the people in there are lovely very polite but that’s not what I came for! my hair is super long and I wanted a straight fringe with a V– cut at the back I came out with a manky fringe and uneven hair (one side longer than the other!!!) blunt layers! wouldn’t even call them layers as they look like I have extensions in and some short layers on top of it in which it doesn’t look like its blended in! FML I asked him this side looks a bit blunt and he sat me down and cut more so I said it’s okay now! I just wanted him to stop cutting my hair as it was bad enough! Still paid and tipped as I won’t be returning and just wanted to warn fellow Asian ladies to not have your hair cut here if you want manky hair! LOL (I really want my money back as I need to get my hair fixed but don’t want to make a fuss guess) =(((

Had a really great experience getting my hairdone in this salon. The staff are just really polite and look after me very well. The front desk lady called daisy, was really helpful of what I needed and was really clear of the prices that I have to pay. The stylist exactly knows what colour I wanted and their junior called jay does the best head massage. I’m diffenitely coming back.

Went to JL on a KGB ionic treatment voucher yesterday evening and am very happy with the result. the staff were all really friendly and relaxed will definitely go again.

I had a great experience at JL london Salon. Everyone made me feel welcome and all staff were very attentive. My hairdresser was very friendly, I’m very happy with my haircut and I would definitely go back.

Ken at JL Salon is amazing. He did an ionic wavy perm of my hair today – and it is fab. He is a lovely man too! I’m American and hadn’t yet found a hairdresser I adored in the UK – I’ve found one now!
