South Ken wouldn’t be complete without it’s French (of course) themed flower boutique just over the road form the tube station.
The shop is very large and their bloom range is pretty unbeatable, I can’t help but be tempted as I pass by the flowering bonanza outside the shop front. From vintage roses to pot plants it’s all here and their imaginative yet classic bouquets are a real treat. You can always find great pre wrapped bunches or have one made up to say Happy Birthday/​I love you/​Happy Anniversary/I’m Sorry a little bit more personally. They’ve always been quite busy when I’ve been in so it’s best to go, give them your requirements and then call back later for the finished bouquet. Obviously, if it’s a large order then you have to give them a few days. They really do give them the wow factor so you wont be disappointed.
The flowers are so fresh and mine have always lasted a good couple of weeks so they’re well worth the slightly higher price tag.

Such an eye-​catching boutique of lovely sprays — how can you not adore them for it? But the scent of the shop is what gets me… right now it smells like Christmas — and they’ve even got classic Christmas tunes floating through the air — not the modern tawdry sort, but the old-​fashioned classics a la Sinatra and Andrews Sisters. If that doesn’t put you in the mood to take home a poinsettia, I don’t know what will.
When it’s not the holidays, however, this is still a good place to pick up a prettily packaged bouquet… they actually tend to have some rather gorgeous options that are reasonably priced — with the added benefit being that nobody would ever know it!
Inside you’ll also find a nice assortment of cards and little gifty things to accompany your blooms. I’ve also discovered that they have a fairly decent amount of sale merchandise… something to keep in mind — especially if you have a real penchant for flowers — since you don’t find that at every florist.
But for now, I suggest you take a stroll through the store if you’re in need of a more relaxed and fragrant version of holiday spirit.

As the name suggests, Jolie Fleur houses some of the most beautiful flowers in all of Kensington. If you’re lucky, early in the morning you’ll see the florists putting out an array of flowers that make the sidewalk like up like a colourful rainbow!
I love this shop because they specialize in floral arrangements. But if you have a green thumb, there is also a large selection of green house plants inside the shop. The prices here are a bit high, but reflective of the area. The flowers remain vibrant with colour for many days to come! Great for special occasions too.

I tried ordering online from here for anniversary flowers. I should have known something was wrong when there was no phone number listed on the website. The flowers were never delivered and I have not received any response from Jolie Fleur. In fact, the phone number listed here does not work.
