I really love this place. I don’t know why it took me so long to try it out since I’m constantly complaining about how difficult it is to buy fresh fish and shellfish in London. It’s definitely not a problem anymore because this fishmonger is the best place around Vicky Park to procure fresh seafood. I can’t imagine I’d be able to get anything better if I drove to Billingsgate myself. £15 for a lovely fresh sea bass which the gentleman very kindly gutted and scaled for me. He offered to fillet it but I declined. £10 for half a kilo of king prawns 80p per Galloway oyster. Cheerful service and happy to answer any questions. I’ve stopped bothering with seafood at supermarkets, you can even get your smoked salmon and kippers here. I was back here 3 times in one week to buy what probably eventually became an entire crate of oysters. Definitely the kind of place every neighbourhood should have.

Very knowledgable and a good selection of fish. Bought 2 of the finest sea bass and they were plump and delicious. More expensive than Waitrose — but could be worth it. Parking is a pain round there, but the residential streets do not have restrictions, so seek and thee shall find.

Amazing place. They are still pretty new to the village, but there is always a selection of fresh fish to choose from. The staff knows their fish and are always pleasant to deal with. Glad they are here!

This is a great addition to Victoria Park Village — now there’s a butchers, a baker and instead of a candlestick maker, a much more useful fishmongers. The friendly staff — it seems like the owner is here most of the time — will help with your selection as well as making suggestions on how to cook different types of fish. They also sell fish cookery books! I understand that Jonathan Norris first had a stall in a Pimlico market but this is his first shop. I guess he thought ‘of Pimlico’ worked better than ‘of Hackney’…
