My first visit to a salon in London. I expected the worse and hoped for the best. I really enjoyed the hospitality of the stylist LUCA. He was very engaging in conversation and accommodating to his client. I gave him free reign to dye my hair a hue of his liking. all except purple. My hair was dyed a simple light brown colour. I may return to lighten my hair colour as summer draws near. The salon interior isn’t overdone with gawdy design. it’s very simple and inviting. I was served tea completed with all the necessary condiments(brown sugar, milk etc)

I had discovered the Josh Wood salon at Liberty really by accident last week while Liberty was holding its«Brushes with Greatness» event throughout the store. One of the things on offer was a free«Bang Bar» — free fringe cuts. Josh Wood has started this offer recently at Liberty and it’s only a tenner if you go there now. My stylist was Joanne. She was really nice and we both knew straight away what would work best for me. To my surprise I am still very happy with the fringe cut — it really makes a huge difference in how my face is shaped and how I feel about my look. I can only suggest to anyone to visit the Bang Bar as it is a quick fix if you don’t have much time but really need a hair cut. I also had colour consultation with Sally(I think). She suggested a new technique to me where the colour is applied in a way that makes it look really natural. I loved the idea and I am sure to be back soon with a proper cut and colour appointment.
