Very small underground club in Soho, and quite tough to find(single door and no real sign). LED wall is awsome, as is the music. Feels a bit like an RnB video. Also a celeb hangout: Outkast were there night before i was(although who gives a shit tbh)/ Drinks arnt cheap, but the cocktails are big and strong. Table from £300 ish if ur not on the guestlist.

Wallpaper raves about how cool the interior is here… the club dubs it «maximalism” — a wall of shifting LEDs, beams of flashing lasers, a bar glittering with Swarovski crystal… but frankly, I think it looks a lot a better in pictures than it does in person. I was expecting *atmosphere*… mesmerizing, transfixing atmosphere… but you don’t really notice the all the raved-about details… inside it just feels like a small dark minimalist club — nothing remarkable… it didn’t feel that different to me than being inside Boujis. I came here with a couple of friends for«80’s night.» We showed up decked out like a couple of dayglo Madonnas and a red-lipped Cyndi Lauper… short skirts, Aqua netted bangs, and raggedy bows in our hair… total 80’s glam, expecting to rock out to the likes of The Bangles. Wow did our interpretation of «80’s night» differ drastically from how the rest of Kaberet’s clientele understood it. Everyone else there was wearing what I guess you could call more urban street fashions from the decade — and the music on tap was all early hip-hop…do you remember«It’s Tricky»? Yeah… it was all kinda like that. The cool part was that there were some notable R&B artists there(though not so notable that *I* knew who they were)… and their entourages consisted of some stellar, and I do mean *stellar* break dancers. One was even so nice as to invite us over to his table where a guy from his posse proceeded to try to teach us some moves… we attempted to be the first glam rocker break dancers — though high heels really make such a revolution difficult. I get the sense that this is the sort of crowd who comes to the Kabaret all the time… so definitely come here if this is your scene. Us? Well, we left kind of early. And sang cheesy 80’s pop tunes all the way home…

Set right in the heart of Soho, Kabaret’s Prophecy is a regular member of the ‘elite’ clubbers circuit in London. The venue is(relatively) small with a capacity of only 130 people, but with beautiful LED animated walls, excellent DJ’s and a glamorous crowd, this intimacy adds to the effect. I’ve had many nights here, enjoying the incredible table service, great drinks selection, and mingling with an eclectic mix of people from locals, to visitors and more. If you like high-end-clubbing, you must give this a try.
