If music be the food of love… Eat bread! Or some such thing! I just chances upon this place while waiting for my driving lesson and it was love at first sight! If you are one of those people that chooses not to eat bread or cake then this place isn’t for you AND you probably aren’t for me. Walking in the staff are so lovely and welcoming and make suggestions of bread based on your preferences also giving little tasters so you can try before you buy. I got a 30% rye and it’s delicious. I actually enjoyed it so much I had it au natural with a mug of tea when I got home. It’s just packed with flavour and so good. With everything freshly baked from scratch on site you really get the best of flavour from the freshness. I also got a slice of banana cake which went down with ease. Will be my regular pre lesson haunt from now on! See you there?

This bakery is really cute. Even if the décor is quite subtle there is some enchanting atmosphere in here. Everything I have tried is very good and the staff is very friendly. They have cinnamon buns, almond buns, donuts, muffins, savory dishes like grilled cheese, soups… Most of all they have a really great selection of breads. They even have Challah(a jewish kind of bread that I love so much!). If the prices were not so crazy I would rate this little shop 4 stars. I don’t remember all the prices but I remember paying £7 for 2 cinnamon buns… Unreal! I will still go back because it’s like a bread and pastries heaven but it certainly will not become my daily bakery…

This place obviously sells quality bread but you can also sit down in the narrow but lovely shop and have a greasy, massive — wait for it — triple cheese triple onion toastie or, if you wanna stay on the safe side, a wholesome soup. As previouse reviewers have confirmed, the staff are super-friendly, the pastries look sweeeet and the coffee is good too. So… what are you waiting for?

Excellent friendly service. Hot chocolate and tea were great and the baking was absolutely outstanding. My partner got a lemon cream puff and thought it was fantastic. Can’t wait to go back and try some of their loaves of bread!

I came here for something different to eat. So glad I chose to come here. The breads are amazing. The choice is limited but everything is spot on. It is easy to spot, has a few tables & chairs inside and two tables outside, not so busy during lunch but can get packed after school. It is all freshly made on site and this is evident in anything you try. They also sell hot drinks which was really nice on the cold day I went unfortunately they don’t serve dairy free milk so best to avoid if your lactose intolerant or vegan. I did notice they have more sweet stuff then savoury which is nice as this is more coffee shop/bakery then a café. Reasonably priced and the staff are so welcoming. Great when it comes to helping you decide what to buy if you walk in without a clue what you want. They also have small samples of the bread they freshly bake and sell on sample throughout the day, it varies which bread you can sample as to what has just come out of the oven. Quick service and extremely efficient. Next time I am back in the area I will most likely pop in. Cute little independent coffee shop/bakery which everyone should visit if in the area!!!

Lovely friendly staff and delicious breads! A breath of fresh air among impersonal chain shops and cafes! Let’s support local businesses
