Kensington Nails

Great little place to get your nails done. I only got a pedicure and it was amazing. It’s a small shop so make sure to make a reservation although they do have a sign that says walk-​ins welcome. I will get going back! And bring cash, they do not accept cards.

Found this place through Unilocal and decided to give it a try since I needed a pedicure (which by the way was 25£). The place is pretty small (2 pedicure chairs+2 manicure tables) but it has a lot of choice for nail polish colour and all the girls who work there were really nice with me. I just got in and they let me sit right away. I had very specific instructions for my pedicure and the lady who did mine listened and understood (bonus points for actually speaking English!). She asked me how I was and if I liked it and she was kind and helpful. She could have done a slightly better job, since my toenail is more a trapezium than a rectangle now, but there are no bubbles and my feet are really soft and smooth!

Fantastic location, close to Earl’s Court and Gloucester Road tube stations. I was pleased by the comfort and cleanliness and the little extras in the room like complementary soft drinks, access to iron, bath robes etc but disappointed that there was no parking which is advertised on some comparison websites.

This place is a good find. It is very tiny – I think only two pedi chairs and two nail desks, so you get shuffled around a bit and a booking at peak times is probably essential.
Not glamorous, but cute and clean. 35£ for a mani pedi. The ladies are sweet.
