Cannot say enough good things about Khao San!
The food was simple, but delicious. I always get Pad Thai any time I go to a Thai restaurant for the first time; if they can’t get this dish right, they haven’t got a chance with me… and, Khao San got it spot on!
Perfect seasoning, tender noodles, generous amount of meat, and the overall flavour was perfect. A bargain at under 8 quid as well.
And the service? I was made to feel like I was visiting the owners in their home-​and couldn’t ask for anything more.
My husband’s moo ping starter (grilled pork skewers) were also delish-​well cooked, juicy pork-​and the dipping sauce was lovely-​complex with the Thai sweet/​spicy/​salty/​sour balance you would hope to find.
