I usually don’t do a lot of shopping when I visit the UK as the exchange rate and VAT make things much cheaper to purchase at home. BUT. I love this store, and I like picking up things here that are UK exclusives. I pop in here every time I’m in London, and this time I just couldn’t resist a large wheeled duffle in a denim blue with brown trim. No, it’s not a UK exclusive but the bag was something that just caught my attention while browsing and I just had to have it. I appreciated that the ladies in the store were so good about pulling other colors from the back to see if they would go well with items I already own. It was surprising to see how things you *think* will go well together really don’t when matched up. They spent a lot of time with me, and I’m probably lucky that at the time I was doing my browsing, the store was fairly(tho not completely) quiet. As this was the first stop on my day out and about, I didn’t want to cart around my new luggage for the rest of the day. I was able to leave my purchases at the store and came back around at the end of the day to pick them up. It ended up being extra convenient, as I put my other purchases into the new duffle and wheeled it right out of the store onto the underground without any trouble at all. Don’t forget to have them prepare your VAT refund paperwork if eligible. It’ll make the exchange rate difference a bit more bearable.
