Looked like it got potential. Not sure what the sushi is like in england but the pieces were so big that you barely could lift them with the sticks, not used to that. £4 for a dish, pricy if you ask me, the sushi didnt live up to the price. Hm. Looked better then it tasted sadly.

I used to love this place a couple of years ago, and maybe a Tuesday night isn’t the best time to go. They were very sweet and let us have one unlimited sushi offer between two, but the choice was very limited. Also, one of the sashimi plates didn’t smell brilliant and I wasn’t convinced that it hadn’t been on that conveyor belt for a while longer than optimum. The lone waitress was very very sweet, but a little clueless.

To chime in with the last reviewer, I love Koto II too! And am also not sure why first reviewer showed no love for this sushi place. The prices are on par with what you pay for fresh, reasonably authentic sushi served with absolutely lovely and smiley service in the City. I usually order the hand roll combination two salmons and one spicy tuna and priced at just under ten quid, makes for an easy-peasy and healthy meal.

Not sure why the last review was so bad, I think this place is great! The sushi is fresh and the staff are friendly. The restaurant is inside the Grange Hotel which also has excellent reviews, as it’s generally a nice place to be.

This is a mediocre sushi restaurant which is overpriced. At luch there is a fairly good choice of sushi and sashimi hitting the belt. There is a Dinner all-you-can eat deal but it doesn’t include al lot of the things available at lunchtime like edamame(edible peas) and the service is bonecrunchingly slow. The décor is a bit grim too.
