Quick, convenient, and consistent — that’s what you get at Kruger. The restaurant isn’t going to win any awards for its food, but if it’s a straightforward full English you’re after, Kruger won’t disappoint. Dishes are reasonably priced and come out of the kitchen quickly. You can order juices and smoothies from the restaurant or to take away from the juice bar. The fresh squeezed orange juice is always a good choice. Back in the restaurant, the staff is speedy and efficient. You can be in and out in as little as 30 min.

This place is just what Canary Wharf needs. Basic food that is reasonably priced, quick turnover of orders, polite and friendly staff, and the ability to customise your orders as you see fit. The juice bar on the corner is also a great idea, and always delicious. I’ve never used the restaurant area on the side, but it always looks clean and well kept. The only downside to this place is the somewhat cramped space that the customers have to work with — it can get pretty unbearable at around 12:30−1pm. The mini counter does help to alleviate this somewhat. All in all, a great little place with some good options, hot or cold, for all tastes. I recommend the Bang Bang Chicken Ciabatta :)

Ordered: Orange, Carrot, Lime and Ginger freshly squeezed juice Price: £2.80 Review: A great way to start the morning afresh! Far less dear that Crush and Brera, but perhaps the lime and ginger addition is not necessary as they are factory made(+20p for lime and ginger juice). TAKECASH if you’re only drinking less than £4.50 worth :) As a juice bar — its fantastic — don’t try to get the foods on offer — not great. Kruger was made for juice :)

I’m not a fan of this place at all, the one time I went there I found it pricey and pretty rubbish. I’m not sure what reason you have for buying anything here as you have the excellent Birley’s right next door for sandwiches and Waitrose a short walk away for much better smoothies and juices…

Why can’t more of these exist in London!!! Incredible selection of tasty, creative and healthy salads, sandwiches, paninis, and more! I wish these would overtake, pret or eat so I could lunch here more often!

Kruger is a slightly odd beast as it features a juice bar(which I have never used), a sit down café and a sandwich bar. The sandwich bar, for me, suffers by comparison to its neighbour Birley, which offers better quality, if slightly more expensive sandwiches to take away. On the other hand, Kruger has a sit down café. At lunch, the café is generally busy and it can be difficult to grab a table. However, during mid morning or mid afternoon, it is a good option to grab a seat for a quick catch up with a friend over coffee. The coffee is not amazing by any means but is pleasant enough but provides a welcome caffeine hit.

I love having brunch and I love breakfasts, warm crispy toast ready to be slapped with butter and condiment, silky and fluffy scrambled eggs Need I go on? I can have breakfast stuff anytime of the day and love it when places offer all day breakfasts. As not everyone might be as crazy as I am, brunch is a good alternative where I can still go breakfast crazy while my friends can choose other options; all while chilling out on a sunny and relaxing weekend day. I really like Kruger which is located in Canary Wharf. It’s an awesome place that serves all day breakfast. I had the Eggs Béarnaise which is muffin, poached eggs topped with Hollandaise sauce. They definitely make good breakfasts.

I come here a lot. sometimes on my own. Large mug of filter coffee and good full English, with good quality ingredients. Reasonable price @ 5.50

Food was decent and reasonably priced. Menu seemed a tad limited. But service was incredibly slow. It took us two tries to get the bill(even though they acknowledged our request the first time around) and we had to wave them down to collect the bill too. All in all, it took over 20 minutes from asking for the bill to getting our change, which is frankly unacceptable.

A perfectly acceptable to-go sandwich and smoothie joint. It’s competitively priced against the other places around(£3-£4 for a sandwich) and they taste pretty good, though they aren’t the most creative. The smoothies are pretty decent as well. The sit down portion of the restaurant is exceedingly popular with the suits from the nearby offices, so I may have to try that sometime.

When I go to the office, I walk through Cabot Place. The first couple of times, Krugers stood out. When I was craving a smoothie, they fulfilled my urge. For just under £3, I got a good sized smoothie that was absolutely tasty. The service was quick and I enjoyed my liquid breakfast. Nice to say liquid breakfast and not referring to booze!

After trying their fresh fruit juice some months ago and then realising afterwards that they had a nice little restaurant around the corner, I wanted to eventually try this place for a bit to eat, which I did today. Delighted after reading on the menu that they served all day breakfast(my favourite meal of the day), we decided to give it a try. I had the cheese, tomato and red onion omelette with fries and a fresh orange juice. The food was nice enough, though nothing that inspirational. There were a bit too many red onions in my omelette, and were pretty raw(the onions, not the eggs), making me very grateful for the orange juice! Unfortunately, the service was generally a bit slow and grumpy(which I noticed caused another couple to give up and leave) and it just wasn’t a pleasant enough experience for me to want to really try it again.
