La Basque

I’m reviewing this to add into my Maida Vale takeaway list, but it’s not strictly in the area — just close to in Willesden.
HOWEVER.
We ordered pizza from here, at about 1am (La Basque’s closing time), and it was delivered in 40 minutes. That’s impressive at the best of times, let alone on a Saturday night.
Plus, the pizzas are cooked in a wood fired oven, made with fresh ingredients and come as thin crust non-​greasy moons of deliciousness.
We ordered the Granfesta, which is a meat-​lovers delight with a kick of spice (my personal favourite) and made up our own topped with onions, mushrooms, pepper and smoked ham.
Each «15 came to £14.95, which is the same price as ‘banned from my house’ Domino’s. For quality, speed and a really nice meal, I have no idea why you’d go anywhere else.
Lovely sides too. I can particularly recommend the caesar salad :) They do fantastic deals as well (e.g. 2 x «12 for £15.99). Best ordered through Just Eat.
