Had the prawn fajitas and chocolate orange fudge cake and I really enjoyed both. The fajitas had plenty of prawns and were flavourful. The warm chocolate orange fudge cake with ice cream was delicious.

Came back for a lunch deal and had an amazing new bean and beetroot burger. Had to update this review as the food was awesome value(especially with an extra 20% off by flashing my cineworld ticket). The new menu has some blinding extras. Go for it!

We defaulted at going to Las Iguanas because it had the shortest queue before a concert. There are good 2 for 1 cocktail deals — the classier ladies just go for the 2 for 1 cocktail jugs and stick their straws in! Anyhow, the food isn’t great here but one word of advice… Don’t Get the Burger. I know it’s a Mexican place but I feel they should just take it out of the menu all together ‘cuz it’s so bad. I should’ve stuck with a burrito or chimichanga. I almost wished I waited to get a burger in the arena.

visited pre concert and there was a long que waiting for a table and not acknowledged or given a menu for 10 mins. We were given a table before others, as only 2 of us. I recommend sitting ‘outside’ as is vey stuffy and hot inside. Waiter took our order quickly, and food arrived promptly however my enchilada was very thin and lacked filling when I commented on this to the waiter, was given a free side of fries and the garlic mayo was lovely. Food was quite nice but was quite expensive for what it was. Spent £25 on 2 mains a soft drink and a beer. They were quite busy and took a while to get the waiters attention to get the bill. They add service charge which says is optional on the receipt but when I paid by card the waiter automatically added it without asking which I thought was quite rude and presumptuous. I had to ask him to remove it which he did. I have been to other branches of this restaurant and had a more enjoyable experience and better food and service and so would not go back here again. There are plenty of other restaurants at the 02 including other mexican places so perhaps i will try one of them if I go again.

Sorry Las Iguanas, I had heard good things about you but alas you disappointed me when I was at the O2 for an event. Everywhere else was packed so I decided to give you a shot as we could get a table. The service was great I will give you that and well yes the meal was certainly quick but actually sad to say here a little toooooooo quick. I know right, when do people every complain about food being to quick well now is a good time. I will tell you why… I was at a restaurant(yes a chain but all the same) not a fast food chain. I like to sit and wait a bit so that I know or am under the assumption my food is fresh and being cooked on the spot. My burrito was on the table within 5minutes and I felt like you were rushing to get rid of us. It wasn’t fresh in my opinion and I was at the feeling where I think the kitchen just knew that they would need so many burritos for the night and just prepared them an hour before. It was average tasting and to top it off was rather overpriced for the size. I sound like its all complaints but I will give points for the margarita i consumed.

Great Mexican restaurant. Well worth a visit if you are visiting the O2 for a ‘concert’. Food is fantastic and if you in a rush just mention it to the waiting staff and they will speed things up for you. Plenty on the menu and you will be spoiled for choice.

We came here during dinner time and there was only one server on one side of the entire restaurant. Service was definitely slowed which became increasingly annoying. I had their chicken quesadilla which was mediocre, although, I did like their specialty bottled sauce/dressing(sweet/spicy) Our visit could have been better if the service was more attentive.

I have been here a couple of times, once in the evening before a concert and another for lunch. When I went in the evening we had to queue for quite a while but you do for all the restaurants. There was a set menu you had to choose from making it more expensive. The food was tasty and the service fast. When I went for lunch the place was dead but to make up for that they had on Latin music on at the same volume as a club, so if you are in the mood to chat probably not the best place to go — as cant hear what the other person is saying so you have to SHOUT. The cocktails looked really good but as I was driving both times, missed out — must go back and try them.

I went to this restaurant last night before a concert and it was very popular, but unfortunately the serice was rather poor. I understand they were busy because it was an event night but I’ve been to many restaurants in the O2 and they haven’t been as slow. We paid £16.50 for two course — which we thought was very reasonable. However, a glass of coke(mostly ice) was £3.20 — which is ridiculously expensive. The food was very tasty and I was definitely happy with it. If you’re going to eat at the o2 go really early, because otherwise you spend all night tryign to get the waiters attention.

Las Iguanas is a typical Mexican chain restaurant, but I must say that I do rather like it. The starters are excellent and the side dishes are well worth trying. The wine list is reasonable and quite inexpensive. Probably the biggest let down is the main courses, but this is perhaps not the fault of the restaurant. Most of the various meals on offer are pretty similar — enchilads, fajitas, etc — all pretty much variations on a theme. Perhaps they could be a little more bold in selecting some new menu items. The only other gripe with this place is the statutory(optional) service charge. 10% is automatically added to all bills — I know it’s a fairly common practice but I still don’t like it!

We chose this place when we were going to a concert at the O2 and wanted somewhere as far away as possible from the main entrance to avoid the crowds! We’re glad we did though. The décor is modern, clean yet atmospheric and the latin music was definitely a welcome addition. I had the ‘early bird’ deal which meant a glass of the house wine was only £1.50, a bargain and it was pleasant drinking. I had ceasar salad as my main course, which was ok but the dressing was slightly watery — maybe it was sitting in the kitchen for a bit before serving. However, my friend had the vegetarian fajitas(I thought they were a mexican dish, but never mind) which I had a taste of and was delicious. I had orange flavour chocolate cake for dessert which was lovely. All in all this is a very nice restaurant and the service was friendly. Just a little improvement could be made on the ceasar salad, but overall it was good.
