You don’t go to Lately’s for a high class night out. You don’t go for a first date. And you probably don’t want to go on your own. But if you have a large group of people who want to go dancing late at night and you’re near West Hampstead, then this is the place to come. The dj will take requests and you can get drinks at one of the two bars. It’s a quirky place that sometimes it’s great and sometimes awful. But I’ll probably keep coming back.

Alas, I have not been here for a while. However u cannot find too many places in the suburbs which r open until all hours. The bar is as wide as a Hurry Potter knight bus. Which makes it a very friendly affair. One certainly has to enter with great caution as you will be joking about what happened whilst u were there, as u disappear into the west Hampstead time machine, be careful to get out at the right time. Worth at Least one visit for the experience I assure you. Although u may chose not to go again many times more.

Great little bar and club in the heart of West Hampstead.
Has a truly unique atmosphere, lovely friendly staff and opens to the early hours of Saturday morning. Dancefloor downstairs and two different bar areas. Beer garden opens in the summer.

A strange lil thing is Latelys a dark, narrow ground level space with small beer garden, what it lacks in being cheapness it makes up in darkness, there is a dance floor space which is even darker and a hilarious toilet which is almost absurdly smelly…
Regulars are mostly friendly and chatty.
Open till late, and charges after a certain hour (don’t ask me I haven’t got such useful details).
