Laundrette

I’ve used this launderette when I’ve been trying to be efficient and combine doing laundry with a trip to Morrison’s on Stamford Hill. But although it makes sense in theory to combine the two trips, in practice it isn’t half knackering doing laundry and grocery shopping in the same afternoon and you may need a long recovery period if you try it!
Also, it is up a hill, so bear in mind the physical exertion required to carry a load of washing up there (or else invest in a trolley!).
It gets bl*y hot in this launderette, if you’re sitting around waiting for stuff to dry, so be prepared to take your coat off. But the Indian lady who runs the place and does the service washes is very helpful and friendly, and the place is often full, despite the machines being quite old!
