Doesn’t serve brunch after 12 pm on weekends. Other locations do.

The Daily Bread. I made the mistake of thinking that this place would be a casual café where I can simply grab a coffee and some.bread. Or a croissant. Unfortuntely, not being from around here, I didn’t know it was a chain– it’s French name not to give the idea of daily bread, but to some how make it fancy or something. Service is like a restaurant, except ridiculously slow. I perhaps just went on a bad day, but my order was even forgotten, and I watched other people get served around me. The waitress who showed me to my seat was also told off in front of me, for seating me there. Not only is this uncomfortable and unprofessional, it definitely didn’t make me feel welcome. I always tip, and this was the first time I really didn’t want to… but the service charge is added on to the bill! I know more places do this now, but for groups of under 6 people, especially, I find it rude. It is the company’s responsibility to pay their staff adequately, and then tipping on top of that can always be welcomed as a sign of appreciation. I won’t be back when there are so many great cafes in the area.

Just a very busy area and inside is also very busy, a bit cramped and not relaxing at all, despite all the things we love about LPQ décor. Our server was… I’m not even sure from Earth. Broken English is one thing, but it was more complete cluelessness and lack of any training in the addition to slurred words and confusion on her face. At one point I made eye contact to order, smiled, waved, she smiled back, and then left. Not left to get a notepad, but just completely turned around and walked the other way and was MIA for quite awhile. I saw a lot of young servers gathered around each other. I’m not sure if something happened, but it just seemed like training went out the window at this branch, as the other branches are super nice. I would stick to one of the close-by museum’s cafes if you don’t want very long waits and dizzying confusion.

Delicious croissant and coffee! I actually stopped by this morning because last night when I was lost and in search of the flat I’m renting, one of the staff was outside on her break and she was so nice and helpful, giving me the number for a taxi even though I hadn’t bought anything from the shop. So, I figured to repay her kidneys by having breakfast here, and boy was it worth it! Staff were super friendly, coffee and food came super fast, and everything was delicious! Definitely recommend!

Freshly baked stuff, deliciously french. Might be a bit moderately priced, but I felt it was totally worth it. Seating inside and outside so depending on the weather, pick your place. Staff is friendly too, quick service. Lots of stuff to try out here. I just had a few. The large latte is really large, looked to me like it was served in a soup bowl. Chocolate Brownie is delicious I had pain au chocolate, which is among the best I have had. Iced Mocha was brilliant. Unlike many places which fill your mocha with sugar, this is the place that gives you the real deal.

I’ve been to this location a few times, and while it’s usually very busy, it’s also usually very good. The wait staff can be a tad on the snooty side, but usually it’s not too bad. The food is always fresh, organic and delicious. The drinks are a little expensive for being so small, but they’re really tasty as well. Their bread platter is amazing, if you’re craving really good breads, this is what you’ll want to order! Last time I tried their chocolate pudding and it was amazing! So, you’re probably wondering why the low rating with such positive comments… well, this is pretty much down to one of the servers. Right next to our table there was a family with an approximate 7 year old child who was playing on his scooter. Granted, that’s somewhat terrible of the parents to allow in a busy place like this. So, the server stumbled over the scooter and was barely able to catch himself before falling, then he turned around and swore at the child! A seven year old child! Loudly, too. Absolutely unacceptable in any customer service situation and thus bringing a solid five down to barely three stars.

Now, this one’s a chain and is popping up all over London, but it is one of those reliable restaurants because you know what you’ll get. I stopped by briefly just for an elevenses. Totally wasn’t expecting to write about this but I really enjoyed the healthy options available on their menu! For our drinks we also had the option of selecting almond milk, so far I have only encountered Pure do so for their breakfast milk. The Spelt and Quinoa scone was also surprisingly tasty!

I’m a fan of this café world wide, but sadly this location allowed the posh neighborhood go to the heads of the waitstaff. After being seated I asked for water, 20 minutes later no water or order was taken. Then the table sat next to me and he ladies were wearing stilettos and had expensive bags. They were attended immediately. All paying clients should be served in turn. Badly done.

Despite the diverse food options in London, I struggled to find foo that was really tasty. I saw Le Pain’s chicken and leek pie online and decided to try it. It was everything I wanted it to be, flavorful, hearty and really delicious. The next morning my husband and I went back for breakfast. He had the croissant, and I had scrambled eggs with prosciutto. It was a little pricey in American dollars, but really good food compared to the other things we’ve had in London.

This place was cute and very busy. All food is organically made and natural. I feel like I was paying twice as much for half the taste though. It was ok. It wouldn’t be a destination spot for me but I would t avoid it. Service was pretty mediocre.

Le Pain Quotidien is located in South Kensington near the Natural History Museum and the V&A Museum. I stumbled on it as I was trying to find food after a photo exhibition I went to and to my surprise they had numerous vegan options on the menu! To be honest the whole menu sounded delicious. They also use organic high quality ingredients which is a huge plus! I had Chili Sin Carne for the main course and butternut squash hummus for a starter. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was delightful. It was warm enough to eat outside so that’s what we did. There’s a nice buzz outside since there are many restaurants located in the same spot. The service was ok, nothing to rave about or to complain really. All and all a lovely restaurant and I’ll definitely be going again!

Terrible service. Refused to allow kids at the table. Also other group was asked off and not allowed to buy lunch, because one of their children had a bottled drink. .bought there as a takeaway. Shame. Coffee over roasted. Place best avoided — there are plenty of much better places in the nearest area.

I was looking for a good place to take my mother out for brunch and stumbled upon this nice establishment. The décor and ambiance was great. The staff was very attentive. When the weather is good, I can see this restaurant being a great«people watching» place as it’s front faces Exhibition Road. There are limited outdoor seating so you’ll have to be lucky. Food wise, I’d have to say I was a bit disappointed. Nothing special, and similar dished could be found for much less in the South Kensington area. I guess I had high expectations after reading some of the reviews.

Free wifi Le Pain Quotidien is located in a corner in South Kensington by the underground train station. I had breakfast here with my daughter twice. The menu’s different from the States, but I still enjoyed the food. Service was a bit slow, but still polite and corporate. I would go here again.

Happily, I stumbled upon Le Pain Quotidien in search of a glass of wine after a long day sightseeing. The staff was friendly and I sat outside reading a book for a while. Prices were reasonable and they didn’t mind me sitting and resting(and using their free wifi!). Good spot for a quick bite.

REVIEWERBELOWIS A FOOLLEPAINISBELGIANNOTFRENCHSOEATIT Ok vutever! OK place, nice girls and chappys working there, like it for breakfast more than other meals as I can seldom find anything I want to eat. Breakfast is perfect tho — boiled eggs, etc., good coffee(tho what irks the funk out of me is that they serve their hot beverages in bowls with no handles — why mess with success?). And the nutella spread is very nice indeed. Went this AM for brekky, croissant was slightly stale but hey… its no big deal to me b/c I am very chillaxed today.

Warning: Large coffee is large. As in, I asked the waitress to stick around and throw me a life line in case I fell in! Yummy simple breakfast is the kind of breakfast that I like. Just two soft-boiled eggs and a pile of bread, neatly sliced for«dippy soldiers»! And when the eggs are gone, there’s still a stack of bread that’s ready for spreading the table’s jar of Nutella! Free wi-fi, great coffee, inexpensive breakfast. I’d drop a star for not having power outlets, but hey, it was just that good!
