We ate there on 2 nights in march 2011. A true genuine french bistro in london. Everything was scrupulously fresh and well prepared. My wife was concerned about her allergies re shell fish and the chef visited our table and prepared a special sea food meal for her. A small intimate bistro with two energetic and friendly french waiters. Most of the diners were ex pat french. The dover sole was superb. From now on we will dine here two or three times during future London visits. A little pricy on the oysters but well worth it.

The décor is amusing — like something you might find at the French seaside in L’Orient, SB. Our seafood was delicious and heavy with garlic(which I like) but the bill seemed a bit steep for what it was — £195 for two for a two-course meal with a tasteful but not expensive bottle of Chablis? Perhaps I would be more forgiving if the portions were more generous.

You want a bit of french seafood, well Le Suquet is a good spot. I went there once and keep a good memory. Pricey but you get nice fresh seafood platter that doesn’t stop at a few shrips and 1 crab. Quantity with quality. Love it.

This French restaurant has fantastic seafood! Le Suquet has been settled on this corner for quite some time, and it has always been consistently good. The crowd you will find here are slightly older, but on a good day you can catch a glimpse of a celebrity, they like this kind of environment. The service is good and the wait staff can be helpful when ordering wine. Expect to pay a good amount of money but it’s worth it. I highly recommend that you reserve in advance, as it can be impossible to get a table at night. If you go at lunchtime you might get away with it.

This is truly a special restaurant and has an absolutely amazing selection of seafood. You are treated like royalty and served the best French cuisine this side of the Channel. I would reserve visits to Le Suquet for a special occasion because that is what it deserves. Allows you to brush up on your French as well!

Finding good fish restaurants in London is hard, but Le Suquet serves excellent food. Named after an area in Cannes, you really do feel like you are in the south of France. The fish is fresh, the atmosphere is peaceful, le Suquet will definitely satisfy your tastebuds.
