Love this bakery. Sells freshly baked bread(baked on the premises), that tastes and smells so much better than the mass produced bread you get from supermarkets. Their crusty loaves and brown granary loaves are to die for. And all for £1.10. You can have the loaves sliced too. Their fresh cream strawberry cakes are so, so, delicious. Just love the freshness of everything. They also sell hot food and drinks at the back of the bakery and you can order you cakes for special occasions like birthdays and anniversaries.

Wonderful little bakery tucked into Camden Town. They had excellent traditional English pastries such as scones and shortbread biscuits. But they also had an excellent croissant and many other choices. The staff was very nice and helpful. Also like meat pie selection but we didn’t get a chance try them.

This little bakery is what made my trip to Camden Town memorable. I saw it and I instantly wanted to go inside and get myself a treat. I got one of those sponge cream and a muffin — the sugar rush was mind-blowing; it was THAT delicious. I recommend it highly as it really does deserve some more fame and recognition. The pastries are amazing, love it.

Stopped in here on a bad day once to get a cookie, and walked out with the most mouthwatering piece of Apple flan ever. Looking at the bakery, it looks like an old fashioned bakery, with an outdated façade when compared with Camden High Streets’ M&S, Sommerfields, etc., but there’s more to this little gem than meets the eye. Their selection of take-away cakes are second to none and my absolute FAVOURITE cake in the world can be found here(sponge cream with strawberries… please take note). They also do an assortment of cookies, pies, muffins, bread and croissants. You can also watch the workers as they actually BAKE(not unpack!) their wares in the back and decorate them by hand. And, to cap it all off, they’re cheaper than any chain store on the high street, with some of their delicious small cakes clocking in at less than 80p. Also, this place does order cakes, so if you need one for a loved one’s birthday, wedding, anniversary, etc., you can get an authentically home made cake that doesn’t taste store bought right here.

Fresh bread and cakes are absolutely delicious — can’t recommend them highly enough. The hot food, however(or at least the sausage sandwiches and sausage rolls I’ve tried) is nothing special. Cheap, though!

This is the best bakery I’ve been to, except for Barbakan in Manchester, which is a deli as well and in a league of its own! Looks like nothing from the outside, but inside it’s packed with freshly baked bread, made on the premises, an amazing selection of cakes and tarts, plus some hot pasties. The staff are numerous and helpful. And to top it all off, it’s cheap. After buying my fresh bread from the more expensive places nearby(Fresh and Wild for instance), once I’d been to the Little Baker, I’ve never looked back.
