You would think with 3 Sainsbury’s already in SW4 High Street area, there really isn’t place for another supermarket. Well you would be wrong. Somehow Little Waitrose has managed to sneak it’s way in. I’m sure some people would be outraged (who are these people?) but come on, the biggest dilemma (when it comes to supermarkets) when living in Clapham was finding out the big Sainsbury was closed on Sunday at 5pm (WHYYYY?!). BUT fear not, now very close by — without walking to Clapham Old Town or Clapham North — there is a LITTLE WAITROSE to the rescue.
The store was very clean with a good layout. It was Sunday night so stock was low but I imagine during the week it’d be better stocked. Staff were lovely and I imagine that on a summer’s day (if they ever appear), this will be a great pit stop on the way to Clapham Common park.
