Been frequenting this place for the last 3 years. It’s not the Wahacas of the world but certainly serves good Mexican food close to home. The service is great and the interiors are a bit different too. If you are around the area and want a bite of mexican food then this is not a bad option. The margaritas are pretty neat and their fajitas are great too the rest is average.

We came here for dinner and thought it was good, but no where close to the best Mexican we have had. I would say the food was more Tex-Mex than really authentic Mexican, but we enjoyed our meals. We didn’t order the fajitas, but wished we had when they came to a neighbouring table — the portions were huge and could feed two people. The service wasn’t amazing, we were ready to order food and drinks and it took a while to get anyones attention. They have a great selection of cocktails that were reasonably priced(around 5 pounds), and they have happy hour a few times a week. The atmosphere was fun and the restaurant is fairly children-friendly.

Let me start by saying we are from CA and eat quality(and sometimes not quality) Mexican weekly. We had to translate a «top shelf» Margarita but eventually got a wonderful one(and a couple more). We had to ask for chips and salsa but that was a cultural thing. We split an order of tacos and were surprised with a plate of «build your own tacos» but they were delicious. We will go back and loved it!

Ok, but just simply fast Food normal. The chicken in the chicken fajita was overcooked, Rest ok. Additional fajitas had to be paid extra. Service gentle and fast.

Slow service on a Wednesday night. Ordered spicy beef nachos but the serving was very small for the price. Ordered chicken & steak fajita and it was great. My other friends ordered burritos and they enjoyed it. Mexican food is suppose to be cheap, but quite high for the portion.

Loco Mexican had a great atmosphere, with the music and the colourful décor, I loved it. I liked the Mexican hats that we made real use of with the amount of pictures we were taking. I had a banana Piña colada witch had the right balance of alcohol and fruit, it was a pretty looking cocktail with the pineapple piece in it. Look I don’t know what authentic Mexican food taste like, Ive only bought dinner kits at the supermarkets. Cant wait to taste the real deal, coz if its anything by what all you Americans say then this place is gonna lose a star. I had tried their barbecue wings, very tasty. I also ordered their spicy beef burritos served with Mexican rice and sour cream and guacamole. Some people may want their spice in the beef but i liked the fact the chillies were on top so you had an option. I liked the beef, it was well cooked, the cheese on top could of been a bit more maturer. I liked the Mexican rice, reminded me a bit of West African Jollof rice. Also the sour cream and salsa sauce was yum. The prices were reasonable withe the main meal being £9:95 and the cocktail being £4:95. Customer service was good concerning when I got in and when I left, plus when I asked the manager something he was friendly. But one of the waitress was rude, and could not stand me and my friends drunken antics bahahaha… Would I come back, here I don’t know, only if was invited to someones do, plus ill stick to my dinner kits i make my burritos better.

We were a group of about 10 colleagues there for a team meal. The atmosphere was great — the staff are nice, bit of latin music to get you in the mood, sombreros liberally distributed, and alcohol flowing. The food was ok. Some of the nibbles were very good, others passable. Fajitas, burritos etc all ok but nothing to write home about. Come here for the atmosphere not the food.

On my search for great Mexican food that tastes like I get in California or Mexico,(I am a Southern California Girl living in London by the way), I tried this place on New Years eve night since it was walking distance from my flat and I was in the need of a yummy Margarita! First off the ambiance of this place is fantastic! The staff is very friendly as well, but when we walked up to the hostess she asked if we had reservations,(there were 3 of us), she said ”Oh, We’re pretty booked right now”…Slight pause as I look around at the almost empty restaurant… So I ask her, «Really, you’re booked? Looks like you guys are really busy!» She gave me a smile and a laugh,(thank God), and said, «OK, we’ll fit you in, but you have to be gone by 9:00pm»(It was 7:00pm) This is why I’m giving this place 3 stars… well, one of the reasons. Anywho… Give me a break, you’re actually telling a customer that they have a certain set time to eat? Really? I almost walked out, but my husband and son wanted to stay. Oh and by the way, It was almost 9pm when we left, and guess what, it still wasn’t busy… lots of seats still available… Yeah, they were REALLY booked! The waitress was really nice and attentive and the service was quick, just like in the States! The Margaritas were so so and not that strong… barely got a buzz, so I ordered a shot. It twas New Years Eve… The food was pretty good, my burrito(The Spicy Beef Burrito) was not that spicy, but full of meat! I couldn’t even finish it all! My husband said his spicy beef tacos were OK as well, but my son said that his Barbecue Ribs were outstanding! They were falling off the bone and looked very yummy, but the fries(or chips as the British call them), were obviously frozen and not fresh before cooked… You do get a lot of food here so that’s a plus if that means something to you, but the food was just OK… I give this place 1 thumb up and 1 thumb down…
