For over a year when I lived near Mill Hill, I never paid much mind to Logo. I just dismissed it as a Mill Hill shop I couldn’t afford. This is a small shop as well, so I always feel a bit weary about overattentive salespeople.
Last Christmas, I saw it. I saw it in Logo’s window. It was a fantastic leopard trench coat, in satin. I needed it. I wanted it for Christmas. It was 80 pounds.
I kept looking at it each time I came to Mill Hill. The trouble was when I finally had some money and it got really close to the holidays, I found out Logo didn’t have my size. Only one size larger. Unable to reconcile myself to wearing a size that large I didn’t buy it.
I will look again this year. Walk in the door. I will never forget that coat.
