Situated just off Carnaby Street is this wee must of a shop for lomographers. I’m not a big shopper but could have gone wild in here. Lots of your favourite toy cameras, camera parts and films. They’ll even process your film but it’s not a 1 hour service(£3 for postage if required). The staff were very knowledgeable & friendly, even fixing my Diana Mini camera which I couldn’t open while I attended a free class. That’s right a FREE class where they showed me how to make red scale film then let me borrow a camera to play with my film for a couple of hours.

This shop is a godsend. Have you ever heard of Lomography? It its early years it was just taking wonky pictures with four lenses with a cheap cameras.

Christmas shopping for my big brother is always a nightmare. He’s cool, he doesn’t need anything and he’s a boy. Dammit. Every year the same problems. This shop is a godsend. Have you ever heard of Lomography? It its early years it was just taking wonky pictures with four lenses with a cheap cameras. Now its hipster pictures with four lenses on a heap cameras … and its not digital!!! You have to buy film and get it developed. How vintage is that, eh? The cameras are all fairly cheap plastic and one has different options with lenses and all that. You need to take into account the amount spend on the film and the development, but still I think its still a funky idea.

It’s a Lomo shop. You either love them, or realise them for what they are. A place that literally mugs you for cameras that cost 10p to make and that should sell for £10 at most. And now a joke: A man went into a Lomo shop and bought a Lubitel for £289.00.

Amazing shop and course centre, I’m loving the lessons and the workshops that take place every month. Great staff that double as teachers and mentors for anything lomo! They’ve opened a new store in East London as well it looks like the lomo community is expanding and film is here to stay!

In a strange twist of fate, I’ve inherited a lomo camera. Thing is, I had no idea how to use it. My friend took me here for a play and I left all excited about this little 60s reproduction. You get snazzy film photos that look like the Hipstamatic app on the iPhone. I haven’t taken a single photo yet, and I’ve already bought some black and white film(I’ve never photographed in black and white before). The camera look like little toys, the photos look fun and the staff are friendly. They gave me freebies which was lovely — little flash gels and lens masks. It’s not a cheap hobby and with all their loveliness they’re like a drug dealer who gives you your first hit for free. In a nice way. I’ve got five rolls of film to play with, which I hope will be enough for me to get the hang of it and find myself with a new hobby. I can see myself getting very addicted to this shop.

The staff was super helpful and the store is just plain fun! This place is all about Lomo photography. You can also come here to develop your pictures and buy some more film. I went to this store with a friend and thought it might be interesting to see the store. I think we spent a total of an hour at the store. I was able to buy a fisheye lens and an adapter so that it could use it on my Nikon DSLR. I’ve had so much fun with the fisheye lens. I recommend this place because the staff is really helpful and great! It would’ve been 5 stars but it is a little pricey for plastic novelty cameras.

This is a dream come true for me! I have drooled over the lomo shops located around the world and yearned for one to come to London! Finally! Its great to be able to actually pick up the cameras and have a play around with them and find out about all their magical hidden features! I treated myself to an adorable diana mini to experiment with! So far so good! The shop is in a great location, amazing décor! Soo much to look at. Yes, it’s wonderful. I urge everyone to take a toy camera in to their life. At the very core of Lomography lie the 10 Golden Rules… 1. Take your camera everywhere you go. 2. Use it any time — day and night. 3. Lomography is not an interference in your life, but part of it. 4. Try the shot from the hip. 5. Approach the objects of your Lomographic desire as close as possible. 6. Don’t think. 7. Be fast. 8. You don’t have to know beforehand what you captured on film. 9. Afterwards either. 10. Don’t worry about any rules.

Being a Lomographer for years… to sum up my thoughts on the store there’s only one word… WOW. This place is pure eye-candy to any analogue lover, and should be added to the«Must Do» list of any Lomographer! I never expected it to be this big and it’s conveniently located right off Carnaby street. There are THREE spaces… read that right THREE. Every wall and surface is covered in cameras and photos. There’s even a separate room for all your Lomography lifestyle needs… t-shirts, camera-bags, camera cases, and other accessories. They’re also starting to offer free workshops and classes to test-run some of their new cameras. Which is a great idea if you’ve had any doubt. And if you were at the opening party… was I the only one who felt«out-hipped»? How nice to have free drinks and cake! P. S. I’d add a photo. but still have to develop my film. Woe tis the life of a lazy Lomographer.
