Met a friend for what started as coffee and ended as coffee and a cocktail. It is a bit of an odd space with tight quarters. My friend enjoyed her coffee, I enjoyed my warm pot of tea, and we both loved our cocktails. I got something from the list with Mezcal and my friend ordered an espresso martini. The drinks were nice, music was good, and embiance nice. I didn’t feel very relaxed because of the tables being so close together. But overall it was ok. Glad to have tried it but probably won’t go back if I find another coffee house in the area to try.

Good choice of food and cocktails. Lovely atmosphere. The staff is very kind, although we were being served during a very busy morning. The Grind is a rare combination of yummy food(with healthy options), good cappuccino, lovely atmosphere and well mannered staff. I’ll definitely come back!

I like the virgin expresso martini at this place. The staff is very accommodating and the atmosphere is so chill on a Monday night. The bathrooms play a CD of Italian lessons which I find quite quirky.

The cocktails here are insanely good. I had an ‘Any Port in a Storm’ which was espresso, port, stout and vodka. It’s like drinking a chocolatey glass of Guinness. I also had an old fashioned which was pretty decent. It’s table service, so you don’t order at the bar, you wait to be seated and then your order is taken and brought to you. The atmosphere in here is nice, not being a fan of places where you can’t hear yourself have a conversation this place is pretty much perfect for me. Nice ambience, so you can enjoy your drink and chat with friends. My reasoning for giving three stars is that the waiting staff are a little pushy. Most places, a waiter will come over when they see you’re looking for them. Here, they are constantly coming over and glancing over your shoulder to see how full your glasses are, which interrupts if you’re just trying to have a conversation. As soon as your glass is empty, you’re pressured into buying more drinks. They also add a service charge to your bill which is kinda cheeky, I would like the option of paying a tip and deciding how much! We also had to walk to the front and ask to pay once we’d been given the bill as the pushy service became totally negligent once we weren’t spending anymore money. Overall, nice cocktails with a coffee theme but nothing special and the service could definitely be improved.

Great location, lovely place, great coffee. What else? I love this grind. I went there out of curiosity because I pass down the place pretty much every day on the bus but never took time to try it. And I did right stopping by. The coffee is great, had an americano and my friend had hot chocolate, all for less than £6 which is fair for the location. Literally opposite to London Bridge station, so obviously quite visible, right at the entrance of the City, so all reasons to be pricey. But it isn’t. That being said, I was not impressed by the service. When baristas and waitresses/waiters do not smile at me, it’s always a big red flag. And even more so when you’re at a central commuting point for most Londoners. I assume that many customers stop by before getting their trains on their way home right after work. So it’s reasonable to expect an atmosphere to relax… which it does definitely not have. All considered, like I said above, great location and great coffee. But that’s about it. Try it, let me know your what you think please!

It’s okay. That’s about the nicest thing I could say I guess. So for me, living on National Rail, the location is great. It’s just outside London Bridge and despite walking in at 1pm with three others on a sunny Saturday afternoon, they managed to seat us with no problems. We ordered the chocolate and custard muffin and raspberry and blueberry muffins and both were really delicious, and HUGE. I’d definitely recommend trying those. But everything else about this place is pretty disappointing. The service is BAD. We ordered two coffees, a pot of tea and a orange and basil cooler… and they got ¾ wrong. Both coffees weren’t what we ordered and the orange and basil cooler arrived as a latte. I mean, come on now. The only person who got what he ordered was Matt with his pot of tea. And if they’d managed to mess that up, I’d have called it quits and left right there. My orange and basil cooler, too… was gross. I had one sip and it tasted like I’d drank spaghetti bolognaise. Basil is NOT a good herb to use in an orange drink. Cut the hipster stuff and switch to mint please. To top it all off. that cooler cost me £4. Ridiculous. I’ll go round the corner to Borough Market next time.

Service was excellent. They were really busy, but remained on top if it while also being nice. It sounds like some of the other reviewers had a bad experience. For me, everyone who worked here that I encountered was friendly and accommodating. They have a pretty good espresso too which went will with the blueberry and custard pastry I got. I didn’t notice until I was about to leave that they have an espresso old fashioned. Would have liked to given that a try. Possibly next time. Cool, young and hip vibe too.

I do not recommend this place, the they have two different prices but they only show one. also paying 4,50 for a very small amount of a juice it’s insane! the staff was as well very distracted.
