The location was pretty nice. It’s pretty close to Chelsea and Notting Hill. It’s close to a ton of eatery. It’s a quick walk to Hyde Park. It’s quiet and clean. It’s also situated close to two metro lines so it’s easy to get around. Staff is friendly. The room is tight and the restroom was even smaller than I expected, but I guess that was expected in the middle of London at this price range. The only thing I really didn’t like was the shape of the sink in the bathroom and how there was a ledge right above it making it really hard to wash face without getting water all over the floor. But really, I wasn’t planning on spending a lot of time at the hotel anyways and the location really made up for the not-so-great parts of the hotel. Oh…and try not to get a room right in front of the elevator. The walls are pretty thin and it can get little annoying.

Great locale outside of the Queensway stretch of retail. It’s tucked away from that business in a quiet garden block. However the rooms are tiny. My room could have done without the extra bed. The bathroom is a decent size but the hot water doesnt last very long. Glad i didnt come in the winter. Hard to beat price and location but the minor inconveniences may draw back

i was happy with our 5-night stay here. friendly staff(except for one gal at the desk), free wifi in the lobby, and an elevator! when our shower wasn’t draining, they fixed it same day. the rooms are definitely small(like barely fit a full size bed small), but it had a tv, fridge, hair dryer and safe. it’s walking distance from bayswater tube, and on the same block as a nice shopping mall. my negatives would be there is no counter space in the bathroom and only 4 channels on the(very small) tv. granted, i have no idea what hotels in london are supposed to be like, but the room was a bit small for two people. and be warned, the hotel is so small, you can hear every person walking by and every door opening/closing from your room.

The Hotel is located a few minutes walk from Bayswater Station(Circle /District Line) in Kensington. Surrounding is quiet and you get to sleep well there. Many shopping opportunities within walking distance. Stayed there for 3 nights in March 2010 during a short trip to London. Pretty small rooms, but clean and well equipped(large bed, lcd tv, tea cooker, phone, hairdryer). For people visiting from continental Europe: There is at least one socket available for your electrical devices, we used it mostly for cellphone /laptop. When we arrived the elevator was out of service, so we had to carry our luggage all the way up to our room. Anyway, friendly personnel, wakeup call came on time on the day of our departure. Can’t say anything about the food there, but it looked ok. Pricing isn’t cheap, but hey, it’s London! What do you expect? ;)

This is a great place to stay. No frills, bare bones, but you get more than what you pay for. Small rooms, but a total bargain for London.

This was a great place to rest our weary heads for 2 nites. Very friendly staff and great location with lots of restaurants and shopping just around the way. It’s a short walk from the Queensway/Bayswater tube. They have internet in the lobby which came in handy when I needed to email BF about my arrival time and to vent about the bitch I was traveling with. There was a tv in the room so I was lucky enough to watch the shows with the Brits and their impeccable sense of humor and cheekiness!
