Yum! Really good haddock, which they fry fresh for you. I didn’t much care for the chips as they were noticeably colder than the fish. However, it’s convenient and the fish is great, so I’ll be back.

This fish and chip shop is far too close to my work for my waistline to be a fan but I like it a lot!
The prices are low and the fish is tasty but tends to be a bit of the greasy side compared to some other places I’ve tried but the stand out for me is the chips. Generous portions and I tend to add them to a chip butty to go for a true carb overload.
They’ve got all the usual selection of sausages, chicken pies and spring rolls and they have a few varieties of fish to choose. I recommend the haddock as well. It tends to have a bit more flavour than the cod and will be cooked fresh to order

It’s a dive, it’s a basic fish and chips shop and that’s pretty damn fine. The prices are low, the fish is fried quick. What more could you want in a fish and chip shop. They have the usual selection of fish to pick from and all come with chips as they should. It’s on the greasy side but that’s what makes it so tasty.
No tables but a counter to lean against. Looks wheelchair accessible.

This Fish & Chip shop has been on long lane for YEARS and for a good reason, their food is superb, but the special item is their RIBS. The Ribs are just FANTASTIC, the quality of the food is first class, its clean, the service is quick. They do not delivery, but who cares when food is this good. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Friendly staff, good fish (especially the haddock), and a heaping portion of chips (small) comes to 5.80 GBP.
Not worth a trip, of course, but a good spot to get your fill of fried eats if you’re in the area or live nearby.

My girlfriend usually goes to get the haddock and chips as with her they cook to order, which is how it should be done. Service is always good and the chips are nice too — plenty of them and well cooked. Good price for the area [SE1] and usually a queue and it helps they are 2 mins walk away.

All in all a fairly middle of the road Fish and Chip shop. The staff are always friendly and the fish is always pretty good, but it tends to stay a little greasy.
If standard Cod and Chips are not your thing, usual pies, spring rolls and fried chicken are available. I tend to call them prior to going in, and have them fry a piece of Haddock. It is better than their Cod and means that it has not been sitting there forever.
One question I have is — Why do they feel that framing their mediocre reviews and hanging them on the wall is a good thing? Were they really that surprised that they did not get a horrific one?!?
