Love Hate Social Club

Wandered in here on our last day in London. My friends and I thought it would be nice to get a little commemorative tattoo of our trip over here. Being pretty heavily tattooed already we figured that it might not be possible being walk ins (as we just happened to find this shop while doing some last minute shopping at portabello road market) but they were able to get us in just a few hours later which worked since we had another reservation to get to in the mean time. They charged us the shop minimum 100£ per tattoo and set us up with Alex who was amazing. She had one of the lightest touches I’ve ever had while being inked and a great personality to go with it. Also crazy efficient! Our tattoos were small, just about 1.5in x 1.5in but she managed to get us in and out all 3 done in about an hour. If we return to London, you can bet we’ll swing by and check this place out again.
Not to be left out the guy at the counter was wonderful and hilarious. I’ve seen some not very welcoming self important counter people in shops but not him. He was hilarious and made us comfortable while we waited. Great experience all around

After my initial review I was contacted by the manager. Today I went in and got a rose piece done by him on my arm. As it’s my third tattoo I felt familiar with the process, however nothing will prepare you for the actual pain of the needle; but I was able to get comfortable for the roughly 90 minutes I spent there.
Also located in the shop is a selection of merchandise such as shirts, hoodies and caps.
Pricing I would say is consistent to what you’d find in a professional studio in London. As I’ve just had two pieces in a very short time I think I need a proper rest before my next one!
