I have to say that I wasn’t overly impressed with Luc’s Brasserie. The setting in Leadenhall market is magnificent and the steep stairs allow it to be tucked away from the usual hubbub outside as well as posing a tripping hazard on the way out. The starter was good, I had potted shrimp and not really knowing to expect was pleasantly surprised. It was all downhill from there, the steak frites which I was really looking forward to eating was a real let down and a bit of an ordeal to eat. The cheeseboard for dessert was also disappointing and not what I was hoping for. Overall I would say that it was a bit of a disappointment.

Excellent French cusine in Leadenhall market. Really good service and wine. It’s a good place to go for business or formal dining. Fois Gras, Jambon etcetra makes this Gallic experience and it’s location a winter favourite for me.
