Please note that this one star rating is only for their music choices at the shop. I went there in search for a yoga mat, shortly after I walked near the mats, a friendly staff offered me some help and suggestions. I couldn’t make up my mind in terms which colour(they have many choices), so I decided to have a browse at the shop first. However, the music was in high volume, they were playing Katie Perry. In my opinion, the original version of that song was awful enough, but they had to play the remix. So, it was like a 5 min«Uu-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O-O» in repeat plus high volume. It just made me sick and I had to leave. It might sound like a joke but I’m serious. Lululemon or store manager, change the music list! Despite this particular experience, I love the brand and their products, the quality is usually really good.

Love my Lululemon & love visiting various stores around the world! Although the staff wasn’t very friendly & I wasn’t «educated» at all I still shopped there. Ended up with a pair of pants I couldn’t find in the US anymore.

Super happy Lululemon finally opened a real store in London. I like to think that my email to their corporate office requested said store helped push this process along. I’ve been to the store twice. Both for purchases made by my husband while visiting the US that had gone wrong. This, friends, it one very cool thing about Lululemon — you can exchange and/or return items purchased in other countries in any of their stores. Don’t like the color your husband picked out for you? Just take that bad boy to the store in London and they’ll do an even exchange. No questions asked. Need a different size? No problemo. My first visit was regarding a pair of pants/trousers. They were too long, so I popped into the store to see if they could be shortened. Sadly, due to the drawstring bottom, I’d lose the drawstring if they shortened them. So, they had to be sent back with my husband to the US to be returned. My second visit was regarding a pair of capris. My husband bought a pair of capris for me during a recent trip to the US. Since I already had a pair of said capris, I knew they would fit. I was so excited upon his return to London that I cut off the tags and jumped in them and was about to make my way to the gym when I noticed a tiny hold in the delicate mesh on the back of the knee. I had inspected the capris prior to cutting the tags off but I got punk’d because the tiny hole was only visible after the mesh had expanded around my calf. UHOH, I thought! This tiny hole turned out to be a non-issue. I brought the pair of capris to the store and explained the above and she was happy to exchange my pair for a non-defective pair. OHJOY! I was so seriously happy that she was so nice and accommodating, I could have hugged her and, you know what? She probably would have hugged me back because that’s how friendly Lululemon peeps are. As a side note, the sizes on the tags are UK sizes, however, the sizes painted on the clothing(usually in the inside of a pocket or waistband) are US/Canadian sizes.

Just like in the States, Lulu was filled with happy and excited staffers! They were all super sweet and helpful. Once we figured out the sizing, we were much happier.

I’m super excited that Lululemon finally has a real store in London. My wallet and my paycheck are secretly dying inside but I sure am. After all, I practically live in this stuff. The store is far less adorable than the old showroom around the corner, but with a proper selection of figure hugging yet extremely flattering sporting goodies in sizes from 6 – 16. The stars of the show is probably the super friendly, helpful and peppy sales girls and boys in the store who knows all the styles in stock at the moment. Topshop, take note. Though they kinda border on over friendly, at least they are not the judgemental thinspirational idiots I’ve met in some of the US/Canadian store and didn’t outwardly think I was crazy that I size down for bras and trousers but size up for tops and shorts(don’t ask). I’m still not sure whether I prefer shopping in store than online(but I generally prefer to shop online anyways) but what I am sure is that my last couple of Lulu experiences(here and in the HK showroom) has somewhat helped towards restoring my faith in the company and I can’t wait for my next yoga class to try out the super cute running, apparently super wicking shorts I bought. Also, they had a girl doing yoga in the shop window. Live mannequin. Love. It. *P.S Just in case you didn’t notice, I’m beyond bouncing up and down with unicorn tears of joy about this.
