OMG I love this place! A good, made fresh to order deli is hard to come by in London. I ordered a ciabatta with chorizo, Cajun chicken & cheese. Sooooooooo good! Will definitely be coming back here a lot on my lunch break. Only room for improvement — it could have been toasted a little more so that the cheese melted.

I used to frequent this sandwich & salad place when it first opened a few years ago, when our office was nearby. As far as sandwich places go, this is tops as far as I’m concerned — looking at the quantity vs quality for the price anyway; I’m always well fed after a focaccia or ciabatta, and they are pretty tasty — and not a terrible price either. Better than the generic places which litter the surrounding areas. My favourite sandwiches are the Saltimbocca(grilled chicken with cheese & parma ham) or the Schnitzel(breaded chicken cutlet with lemon and ham. There’s always a big queue of business-types for salads, which admittedly I’ve never tried, but big queues are usually a good sign! I can also recommend their breakfast sandwiches; especially the Hot Scot! Salmon, scrambled eggs, and tabasco. Their bacon(or sausage) and egg sandwiches are also giant if you are in the mood for a big old meal first thing in the morning. I have occasionally had a sub-par experience, which I put down to the lunchtime rush or when running low on ingredients; but for the most part it has been excellent. There is a set menu for sandwiches though so don’t expect to be able to build your own in a hurry. These probably prevent a 5-star review, but you can certainly do far worse than come here for a tasty filled ciabatta. I’m a fan!

So in my quest to explore new ways of lunch I ventured outside my normal search radius and found this little shop. I assume it’s a chain, just by the way the branding looks. They offer a wide range of bagels, wraps and sandwiches, but I went for the soup. It was good soup… but the amazing part was the bread for 40p extra. Very nice, toasted and buttered ciabatta bread, with a real crunch. Oh what a pleasure to eat and dunk into soup. Well done me for finding this place.

I happened to go there recently at the weekend and was quite impressed. It’s a professional looking shop where the food, mainly sandwiches, are made to order with fresh ingredients. I have to say, that I would have been happy with half a sandwich, so if you’re not too hungry, get one and share it with friends!

My favorite sandwich at this end of regent st — the portobello stack which is mushroom, brie cheese and salad with dressing on a toasted ciabatta = yummy! Also love their crayfish salad… It can get a bit busy in here at lunchtime but they’re fast, efficient and happy for you to personalize your sandwich or salad — and they have lots of yummy choices…

I go to Westminster Uni just across the street and finally went here today after wanting something different for lunch than just a Boots sandwich. So delicious! The sandwiches are pretty expensive, mine was £4.75, but believe me you get such a huge sandwich for the money, when I went to eat it, I picked it up and it was surprising how much food it was! I got the Tricolore sangwich, which has mozzarella, basil pesto, tomatoes, avocado(they didn’t have any fresh avocado at the time, but they had guacamole which is even better to me), salad, and sundried tomato, all in a nice grilled ciabatta. It was so tasty and I couldn’t even finish it because of how much food it was. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There was pretty much no one at the shop at the time, so the service was relatively quick considering they put the sandwich together right there. While a bit more expensive than a poor student would like to pay, I’ll definitely come back to indulge again! :)

Fresh & lovely salad and sandwich!!! I eat there almost 3 times a week… lol a bit too much perhaps When I am very hungry I take Ciabata sandwich! It is sooo good, very consistent, with fresh veg & good meats. I recommend the Soho Club. But most of the time I prefer take the salads(a bit more heathly yeah). They are blended so you don’t have to try by many way to have your salade well blend like when you buy then at Pret à Manger or other… large choice of veg & meat, I would recommend the Chicken ceasar, the salmon or the one with hummous on the top(don’t remember the name now) If you work around or need a lunch during shopping session… just enjoy there

I am addicted to the Schnitzel foccacia, but it’s alright because it TASTES so good! Any sandwich that includes lemon juice, tangy cheese and a slice of ham with lightly toasted and herby bread deserves to be eaten! Quickly. The queuing system is designed for busy times and can put off newbies the first time they go there — Make has a huge menu that you can read while you queue — and queue you will in the week, it’s very popular. If you don’t want to be asked what to eat, stand by the fridge and you can see what happens in here. Ordering will give you a number and a short time later the staff will call you as the food is prepared in front of you! Most of the office I work in has breakfast here to take away and they also have a large range of salad and wraps too making going there for lunch an absolute treat — especially if you want to sit outside or takeaway to close by church steps.

Get the yoghurt… It is £2 and is packed with chopped up nuts and strawberry sauce. HUGE pot.

Pretty good little sandwich place on Regent Street. I chose a Cajun Ciabatta, which turned out to be huge. It was pretty great, but not in the top 20% of all-time sandwiches, so 4⁄5 :) Check out my photo of it…

Food was fine and price reasonable(not extremely cheap, though). I got number 12 in poppy seed bagel and it was very tasty. However, the staff was rather unfriendly and very impatient. I went on a Saturday at 12:30 with someone that works nearby and eat there at least once a week but it was the first time for me. They have over 28 items in the menu(apart from the DIY option) and the shop was completely empty. Since the very first moment I crossed the entry door and started looking the sort of dashboard they have, both attendants started asking me every 30 seconds what I wanted. I chose an item that apparently they didn’t do at that time of the day(only for breakfast) although nothing was written in the dashboard about that for me to know, so when I had to change my choice, they looked at me as if I were the worst and most annoying customer they ever served. I guess I felt bad and ended up ordering the same as my friend(fortunately he has very good taste: D). My friend told me that usually in weekly days at lunch time there is always a queue and when you order you’ve already had plenty of time to decide, so he’d never noticed that impatience. I won’t probably go back anyway.

Good take away sandiwiches, salads or wraps. Great for grabbing a quick sandwich at lunchtime. Quick and convenient… though you do stand around looking like a numpty as they make your sandwich so its a good place to start talking to some random next to you. I usually go for the Ciabatta Schnitzel(Breaded chicken escalope, roast ham, provolone cheese, lemon juice)…but then I am a creature of habbit. Forgot to say this is a chain with just two premises currently.

Really good sandwiches !! You can choose hot or cold sandwiches. For my part, I always take the Schnitzel sandwich with chicken toasted, salad, tomato. The prices are cheap and you can have good sandwiches for less £5. One sandwich is very generous. The service is fast and you can get your sandwich done in front of you in 5 minutes. My only complaint is that they don’t do wraps in hot sandwiches and for people who want to sit down the restaurant is little.

The sandwichs are really nice and made with fresh food. I tries the wrap with smocked salmon, it was tasty and fresh. The only inconvenient is the low number of seats. But that a good take away.

The food here is good, very good. The production team are nothing if not impressive and take lots of care over your food. And, you get a lot of it, decent quality, and a little unusual. Bonus points to them for the smoked salmon, lemon juice and guacamole creation I had last week. So why is it, then, that I feel a little sad and overly light of pocket once I’ve bought something? I’ve probably spent more on a sandwich before. London is expensive. I know all these things. But as I parted with close to four quid(for a bagel — would have been closer to five for a ciabatta) I couldn’t help but wonder, in my best Carrie Bradshaw pose, would I have enjoyed the food more if it was a quid cheaper?

If like me you like your sandwiches supersized then I heartily recommend you check out this place. So far I’ve tried a ciabatta roll & a wrap and both have been a real effort to finish off(Very Good). The downside to is that it’s a chain but as chains go it’s just about as good as they get, friendly staff, freshly made and a varied menu. If subway is in League One then Make Mine is challenging for Europe.

Bloody lovely sandwiches speedily produced. The roast beef melt was particularly good, in fact I’m actually starving just thinking about it. I’d usually avoid this kind of sandwich place if I looked at it, but the goods really hit the spot.

I worked across the street for a year, and Make Mine only was there for about 6 months of that year. Well, I would go at least twice a month and spoil myself with a seat by the window(you could sometimes find one, if you went late enough) and a delicious parma ham sandwich . I am still drooling from remembering it. All I can say is that their very odd ticketing system(you get in line, pay, get a ticket, and wait for your order to be called) works but it does get exceptionally slow at peak times(12:30−13:30). So be patient, and make sure you have enough time to walk back to work after feeding.

Considering I had soup and bread, I wasn’t expecting to feel too spoilt. Well done Make Mine! After a rough morning(read: slept through alarm, got on wrong train, didn’t get to office until lunch time) I thought leaving me desk to get lunch might be a bit cheeky — so I got the boys to buy me some soup while they were out. Make Mine was en route and they came back with some sausage and lentil concoction. Spicy and brilliant. Full of yummy things. A tad watery, but spicy enough not to notice too much. But the bread. Oh my, the bread. None of this normal white bread rubbish you usually get. Nope. got me some ciabatta with olive oil(damn good olive oil at that) drizzled over. I’m pretty sure i might prefer some of the other flavours, but as I had my own delivery service that day, I couldn’t be fussy. But the boys didn’t tell me how much it was — I wish I could share prices but I can’t. Sorry. I’ll be back though. Just for the bread. I’ll update soon.

Rare is it these days that you get a wide selection t such low prices. Make Mine is just such a place. With staff who remember you and can sometimes predict what you will order, through their fresh ingredients, and speedy delivery, I strongly recommend this sandwich shop. Breakfast, lunch, snack or a light bite in the evening, the staff here are friendly and ready to help. The food is fantastic, the selection broad and everyone always seems to have a smile. My favourite way to start the day.
