One of my favourite places for breakfast or lunch. I believe all of the food is prepared on the premises! Aswell as the obligitory breakfast menu– Full english, egg on toast etc, they have an array of homemade specials for lunch! A typical day they might have– A fish pie, greek salad, macaroni cheese etc. It all tastes great and if you have any room left, their chocolate brownies are to die for!

The café is overall lovely, the best of very few cafes on the street it is situated on. There are however two problems with the café and these are as follows:
1) the café does get awfully cramped at lunchtimes, when you need it. You do get the sense that somebody is waiting to jump into your seat due to the popularity of the place
2) it is a little on the expensive side with expensive drinks and deli style food.

Manhattan café sells very nice food. It gets quite busy and lunchtimes but there is always a good vibe and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The food is freshly made and is very tasty. They also rent movies and popcorn etc.
