Stays open a bit later than other high street stores stocking electronics, which is quite useful when you just get home from travels and realize you’ve somehow lost your phone charger.
An eclectic but not very diverse selection of electronics parts and products. Prices are decent so I don’t mind the small selection when I need to quickly get out of a jam!

I walked into this tech head heaven and was found out the moment I opened my mouth. I needed to split a feed from my Nintendo Wii to a projector and a TV. After perusing the web the night before I thought I knew how. The attendant told me otherwise. He was right! Brownie points to Maplin.
I am not going to pretend I know what all the electrical and tech things being sold in this shop are. What I do know is that there are lots of useful things here that someone in the know would probably juice themselves over. The attendants know what they are talking about too.
Maplin… your alright!
