I regularly use the supermarket its busy, but well stocked and good… HOWEVER. Yesterday I had to return an item which was an unwanted present, recent, but I had not got a receipt ! The person on returns.(easy to identify as she was HUGE. and hard to understand)…her reaction was to raise her eyebrows… which nearly disappeared into her head… and her face displayed distain… OMG…im not a person who will write a negative review… But this lady??? not only HUGE herslef… also has a HUGEATTITUDEPROBLEM… When I saw her face and eyebows shooting upwards… I couldn’t belive it… Marks and spencers… what the hell you doing? how the hell did a person like this ever get a job with your company??? …you have a good track record… don’t worry… I will never set foot in your store again…

Lovey shop full of goodies. It is well stocked and always clean. Yes maybe more expensive but I feel well worth it! I especially love their fruit and veg as it always looks appetising. This branch also have a VERY tempting bakery that is difficult to avoid!

Really cheap but fresh sandwiches. Love the William pear and wild blackberry luxury yogurt! Marks & Spencer was one of our staples in London with fairly affordable prices and pretty good, quick food. However, it’s pretty much just your average chain store, and comparable to Sainsbury’s or Tesco. Also, only the food is really cheap, the clothing is actually quite expensive. I definitely recommend M&S if you’re looking for a quick and healthy lunch. They also have a bakery with fresh bread and plenty of snacks if you need something to bunch on while you study.

British Target is M&S(well, it has better stuff than T). I like M&S’s simple coffee cups, some clothes, but I could not find from this store. Here, you can find more food. Maybe it’s because this store is near the market.

M&S to me as an American is kind of like Nordstorms with a bigger food area, and quite frankly M&S has better food. I am addicted to their cookies, especially their Pistachio ones, amazing. But their other stuff is pretty good too, I always stuff my bags with their snacks when I stop in London. Their clothing selection of clothing at this location is kind of sparse but I guess it would make sense for them to focus more on food here when they are surrounded by upscale shops. But I did manage to get some sweaters/jumpers here for a really good price. Overall, if you are a touristy type you should come here and wonder the food area if you don’t want to have a proper sit down meal. Now back to those bloody cookies.

This is your usual M&S store. It’s good for dropping into for groceries on the way home or to quickly pick up a sandwich for lunch. Some time ago they opened up a café in the store. It’s ok, not superb. But they do make a nice halumi cheese and falafel burger as a vegetarian burger option. It’s quite nice. Not WOW, but a decent alternative to a cheese sarnie or other common veggie offerings. They have a $ 4.95 special of burger, chips and drink. It has to be a fizzy drink tho(bad point there!). Anyhow the café is a good option for inexpensive lunch, as many of the family Italian cafes that used to be dotted around Covent Garden are gone [ :(]. BeadedDelightsByStef

This branch of good old M&S is located on the wonderful Long Acre and directly opposite Covent Garden so straightaway from that description you can imagine how busy if can and does get! I pop in here sometimes after my boxing class to grab a snack or some more water! The food section here is huge, it takes up the entire ground floor — so imagine that and all the goodies it holds! There’s also a small café there too. Upstairs there’s a smaller than usual range and stock of their clothing but you can still pick up some great items and it’s definitely a good place to stock up on your wardrobe essentials like undies, bras and hosiery that M&S are famous for!

This M&S, conveniently located across the street from Covent Garden station, has a ground floor dedicated to food and a first floor dedicated to clothes. It’s not the largest store going and it is predominantly food-focussed, so don’t expect to be able to find«that particular» pair of shoes /dress /underwear set you’re looking for, but do expect to be able to peruse a decent selection of clothes and accessories and then pick up lunch, or a tasty treat from the ground floor before you leave. No, M&S isn’t the cheapest store, but the food is tasty and, as I’ve mentioned before, they do some great undies. Pants and a sarnie. And that’s lunch!

Great place to stop for a a quick bite and decent pre-packaged/made to order food at an affordable price. Got two salads at 3 pounds. Dotted around town, stop by M&S when your on the go and simply want something to fill the stomach before a more solid/full sit-down and dine-in meal.

There are many, many branches of the«Marks ‘n Sparks» chainthroughout London(and England for that matter) but I am fairly certain this the one in Covent Garden is the one we went to to grab some tasty snacks. WE had fresh strawberries, egg mayonnaise, prawn salad, and other inexpensive treats. Plus it’s a great place to buy baby/todller clothing. Love Marks & Spencer. Wish we had them in the States.

Yes, they’re a grocery store but I have to say, their café has a pretty damn good panini. I may be slightly biased because I’m a bit of a panini fanatic. If there’s ever a choice between that flat, grilled, sandwichy goodness and, well, anything else, I’ll typically go for the panini. My friend(Joseph D.) let me dip my sandwich into his tomato soup and I was in heaven! Mmmm sooooo good :). I also got a cup of hot coco(another favorite) and it was very, very good. Much more rich and chocolately than most other hot cocos I’ve tried. M&S, you did a good job… If I’m ever in London again, I’ll stop by and visit.

Their pecan pie. Whenever I’m in the area, I poke into this branch cause it’s the only branch that seems to carry the Mark & Spencer pecan pie, usually in the frozen section(?). Divine. And, only a few pounds. If only M&S would keep their pecan pie in stock, I would gladly give them five stars Located across from the Covent Garden tube station.

Before and after jazz class I’d queue in M&S for bottles of water, smoothies and the occasional cake. The convenience food section is very good and swarms of people congregate into huge queues to pick up lunch time meals. Try and avoid being here between lunch hours as it gets very busy. With food products ranging from snack items to meals there is something for all appetites. There is something about M&S food that makes me feel I’m eating something healthy. Although no matter how I fool myself Percy Pigs are not going improve my five a day intake.

Marks and Spencer is a British grocery story that only sells its own brand of products. You won’t be able to find a Coke but you can find an M&S cola. They sell all different sorts of premade dinners that you just pop in the oven and heat up, as well as cold pastas and salads for lunch. They are not very good at catering to food intolerances and I struggle to find a sandwich or wrap that does not contain dairy, if you have a gluten intolerance than forget it as far as their ready meals go. They also sell a clothing line for which infamous costume designer Patricia Field has just released a line especially for M&S. The clothes mostly are for everyday wear to add cheep basics to your wardrobe popular with grannies all over Britain. For this branch the food is on the ground flour and the clothing for men and women as well as accessories are on the 1st flour, which separates the merchandise nicely. To find traditional British foods such as puddings, and crackers, and mince pies they do have a decadent selection. M&S can be a little pricy if you are on a budget but if you are in the mood for a treat it is a good place to come.
