This M&S is located inside of the Whitleys shopping center or(mall) it has a very good selection of wine, bread(if you get there at certain times of the day you can get fresh baked bread, pastries, muffins and cookies all drastically marked down, 40p for an 18 inch baguette!) and cheese(£1.50 for a nice wedge of some very good quality brie!) The meat and produce selections are well stocked up too. They also have a frozen section and lots of canned goods, sauces and dressings. Also in this store is a home goods section in the back right hand side with pillows, sheets, blankets etc. And a small clothing section in the back left hand side of the store. M&S’s food prices are very affordable the only down side is the self checkout machines constantly lock up and you have to flag down the one mgr. with the swipe key 10 times.

The largest M&S in the area. They have a great selection of freshly baked breads and flowers too. There’s a limited selection of clothes in the back. But the main reason to visit is obviously the food. If you reach in the evenings, you get some great offers 3 for 2. 2 for 7£, 3 for 10£ etc Quality and taste of cold cuts and marinated meats is the best in the vicinity

One of the few larger supermarkets in the area. I almost never go in here because I’m really more of a Tesco man, if I’m honest. Aside from that, not much else to say. It’s M&S. They have pretty much the same food as other supermarkets, except you’ll pay a little bit more — but that premium usually saves you from rubbing elbows with the local riff raff. I am the riff raff.

I live closest to the M&S at Notting Hill Gate, but since that store is rather smallish and don’t stock a range of my everyday products I took the extra walk to Whitley’s. What a waste of time. Considering how grand the store is, it is a puzzle how it can contain so little. I guess it’s a product of the strategy to try to stock a bit of everything(clothes, kitchen stuff, gift rapping stuff, etc) meaning that there is slim pickings of actual food stuff. A few examples: there is one type of tortilla and of course the boring fully processed type — don’t waste your time looking for whole wheat or even organic tortilla here. There is one type of brown rice, in a very small bag. One type of soy milk and no other milk alternatives such as almond milk, rice milk, etc. that even Aldi stocks by now. To feel that my trip wasn’t an absolute waste of time I just bought some veggies and headed back home. Don’t come here for basic food grocery, but from the looks of it they have a decent selection of ready to make food.

M&S has always been known for their quality at reasonable prices and this location didn’t disappoint. It’s a well stocked M&S that was close to my hotel. I went there daily to grab a Smoked salmon & soft cheese sandwich and a greek yogurt parfait so I could stay relatively healthy during my trip. That said, I also tried one each of their Milk Chocolate Chip and White Chocolate Chip cookies out of their bakery and they were ridiculously tasty. I was very pleased to find this store.

I always liked this particular M&S because it was always well stocked, never crowded, and was just down the street from where I lived. I suggested my parents stop by here for food so that they wouldn’t have to eat out all the time and they didn’t have to cook since they were staying in a hotel. The staff here is friendly and I don’t think i ever left here empty handed.

I’ve queued in Marks and Spencer’s all over London, but this particular M & S saved me from having to eat unhealthy meals out during a 6 week stint after my flat was flooded from a plumbing mishap. I temporarily relocated to a hotel in Bayswater and I purchased many deli items, ready meals, and even hosiery from this shop in Whitelys Center. Some of my favourite M & S offers are their crisp side salads, deli wraps, egg and cress sandwiches, poached salmon, croissants, and fruits. All of the offerings I sampled were fresh, flavourful and healthy. I also found their pricing to be fair for the quality. It does get rather busy during lunch hours, so plan accordingly. During this very stressful period of my life, I also developed a terrible addiction to their merengues… an affliction from which I fear there is no recovery. I arrived in London terribly thin, but departed looking quite healthy. I owe it all to those merengues with heavy cream. Indulge with caution~ TIP: Marble Arch is the most impressive M & S I’ve seen thus far.
