M&S en abrégé soit Marks & Spencer dans son intitulé complet, grande chaîné de magasins en Grande Bretagne présente dans un paquet de rues londoniennes et notamment dans Brompton Road avec cette petite boutique centré sur l’alimentaire.
Même si les prix sont parfois un peu exagérés (jusqu’a £3 pour une boîte de deux sandwich triangulaire), on apprécie d’y trouver une large gamme de produits frais, utile pour dépanner.

Let me begin by say how wonderful it was to see you. I admit that you were indeed a site for sore eyes. Flashing that welcome smile that I like so well. Delightful!
However, I must implore you to have a word with your relative across town. The behaviour presented was completely unacceptable and not to be tolerated. By example please show your sister in Farringdon that more is expected of her and having a hoticutual display such as yours is not only useful but expected.

Marks & Spencer have always had that air of expensive middle class pomp. In truth they’ve advertised themselves as being way above average.
The Brompton Road M&S isn’t so different to any other express supermarket. You will never do your weekly shop there, but they do have an excellent selection of goodies that can make a one off meal special. Don’t go expecting lots of basic ingredients for baking cakes, or basting a suckling pig. No, no, no, this M&S is about convenience food with that extra touch of glamour.
I am a big fan of the melt in the middle chocolate puddings and the raspberry royale mini trifle… Mmmm. For those continually on a diet they have the usual pre-​packed salads, sandwiches and other low-​carb, no fat, no additive, no flavour crap, London enjoys so much.
