Martin’s Butchers

Local butchers in the High Street, been there for years, supplying local restaurants as well. They have branched out not just supplying meat that your ordinarily get from a butcher, they also stock egg, rice, oil, canned foods and sauces. If you want fresh pork, beef, chicken, lamb, you will get a good choice here. If you can’t see it in the window, just ask, and the butcher, Martin, will disappear into his fridge at the back of the shop and return with whatever you want.

Their is nothing quite like a Butchers to remind you of our heritage as a country of savage, hardcore hunters. We hunted across the entire globe and here, at our butchers, is where we display (proudly) the carcasses of our prey and make some profit to bring home, or to bring to the pub. Martin has got himself a good quality butchers and the shop looks very pristine and clean — a far cry from some of the other, grimy butchers I have seen in my time. The meat on sale is reasonably cheap as well, considering the freshness and service costs that must be incurred with the price. Alot of people were queueing up here, and I can fully understand why. A popular place, and a place for meat purists. I personally recommend the leg of lamb on sale, because no meat is truly as tender as roast lamb.
